If someone wanted to understand Israeli/jewish culture through comedy, where would you tell them to start?

Stand-up, sketches, comedians, old classics, newer stuff, just anything where the humor tells you something about everyday Israeli life.
Bonus if it works for someone whose Hebrew isn’t perfect.

House vs Savings

33yrs old, working hard as an RN. Single with no kids.
I have around 118k in savings. Got an opportunity to take a mortgage on a 415k house for 30 years.

Been considering doing this big step in my adult life even though it feels risky. As the question of “Why am I doing this?” Always pops up. I feel life pass by me and I make choices because everyone does them.

I couldn’t find a partner. Every women I’ve been with was using me(free meals, restaurants, trips etc) or disloyal to me. To the point I got tired of dating or relationships in general.

I train and achieve great strength more than what I had in the army in my 20’s.

So the only “next big thing” for me is “owning” a home.
But the thought of the mortgage that I have to pay kinda stresses me out + the failure in finding a partner seems like I skip a step in life.

Any thoughts ?

How do couples handle travel when one person keeps kosher?

My partner keeps kosher, while I don't, and we're starting to plan a trip around Europe for this summer.

I've realized that finding flights is easy, but figuring out where to stay is a lot more complicated than I expected. We'd like to stay somewhere that makes keeping kosher easier, but I'm not even sure where to start looking.

I've come across some Israeli travel companies (like isstta - אסתא In hebrew) that seem to have dedicated kosher hotel and vacation sections, but I don't know if that's something people actually use or if there are better resources.

For those of you who travel in Europe and keep kosher, how do you usually plan your accommodations? Do you specifically look for kosher hotels, stay near Jewish communities or Chabad, or just book regular hotels and work around it?

I'd really appreciate any advice we're both new to planning a trip like this.

Weight loss

Im 33M,
Been on weight loss on 2000 calories a day
Today I weigh 85kg and 1.84 meters.
Two weeks ago I was 83kg and I stick to my calorie count.
Every two days I do walks on treadmill(I got knee injuries).
Every day I train with body weight such as pike pushups, 13 pull-ups e.t.c

Why does the weight fluctuates like that ?!

AI said its sodium intake(and I do like salty food)

Family at 33

Hi, I’m 33 male.
I work as an RN in a hospital. I love my job, but when I get to my apartment it feels empty.
I got a mainecoon cat, and a home gym.
I got pretty bad experience in relationships.
Today I think to myself if I should even bother with this topic and the dream to have a family.
Anyone at their 40’s can give me an insight about their single life ?

Renting near home

I thought about buying a property next to my house.
And renting it in Airbnb.
The question is how will it work? Will the guests bother me more if I live next to the property or am I expected to be more responsive ?
