Hiya!

I’ve just made the move from a 2014 Leon ST TDI to a Leon ST FR TSI

Everything about the new motor feels incredible but I’m having a little difficulty with the MIB3 system. I’m currently stuck on software version 1790 and I’m unable to get any updates going OTA. This has become apparent when trying to register a profile and the connection failing every time.

I’ve had a bit of a google around and I’ve found loads of different options and opinions but nothing concrete that I fully understand.

Would someone be so kind as to tell me in simple terms:

1 - is there anything I can do that will make the system complete its required updates without plugging anything in or being technical

2 - if I am unable to get the system up to date with OTA updates, how can I get it sorted with a degree of simplicity and speed.

Whilst waiting to pay for some shopping, I noticed a broken jar of jam on the counter next to me.

I had to double take because the lid appeared to give a poor review of the jam inside.

Does anyone else see it?

Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of what is commonly thought of as a defining moment in Mancunia’s musical history.

This gig is credited as being the event that triggered the creation of Factory Records as well as inspiring (or encouraging) many others into the industry.

For anyone who has done a bit of reading or even if you’ve just watched 24 Hour Party People with Steve Coogan, do you believe that Manchester would still be considered as important musically had this gig not taken place?

There’s no right or wrong answer here as we will never be able to experience the alternative, I’m just curious to hear your opinions.
