Chafing under the arm???

I swim 3 times per week in a swimming pool when I’m at home.
For the summer I relocated to the ocean and I swim daily (around 1km). I only swim freestyle. I started noticing painful chafing in the inner side of my arm, just nearby my armpit. It never happened to me before. I guess it’s because of the salty water being more sticky.
Is it common? Is your arm supposed to rub against your armpit enough for it to chafe? Is it a matter of technique?

My dad thinks he’s dying and I won’t be there, AITAH?

My (29F) dad (64M) is a very uptight, autistic and awkward father. We are really close, but there are times when I don’t understand him, even if I try really hard.

He recently got diagnosed with a heart problem that got him to be scheduled for a heart procedure that lasts 5 minutes. It’s absolutely safe and he’ll be alive and kicking by the afternoon. I will go to the hospital with him and pick him up after the procedure.

Now here’s the problem. My brother and my dad have a really bad relationship. I promised my brother I’d visit him during the weekend prior, my dad’s procedure is on Wednesday. I told my dad so, he didn’t say anything at first. The thing is he’s hypochondriac and he thinks he’s gonna die. Now he doesn’t want me to visit my brother, and he made me feel super guilty about visiting my brother because he’s gonna be alone with my mom during the weekend (they have a complicated relationship). He didn’t tell me anything directly but he really implied that he’s gonna feel lonely and it might be the last time we see each other.

I love my dad, but I also love my brother, and I’m tired of all these implied messages where he doesn’t tell me something and expects me to understand his intent. I’m still going to my brother’s, but I feel super bad. AITAH?

Edit: for clarity, I’d be visiting my brother the weekend prior to the procedure

Edit 2: Thanks for all your replies, it was nice to hear different perspectives. I decided to stay with my dad this weekend because my guilt would not let me have a good time at my brother’s.

It’s killing it in the Korean box office apparently, wanted to know if anyone watched it in the theater. I’m super excited to watch a good horror movie, but I’m not sure that it’s going to be screened abroad (I’m in France).

Edit: for anyone interested, here's the teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0QWAgDke1I

I'm looking for a nice book for a tea newbie, featuring Chinese and Japanese tea and beautiful pictures. It's mainly to understand the brewing methods, the teaware and tea culture. Could be in English or French.

My dad purchased this super cheap (about 10€) teapot in China town in Paris. It looks nice and is super comfortable to use. He drinks out of it all day long, so here’s my question: are there any risks when using a super cheap teapot?
