First day in Brooks shoes

I work in health care, on my feet 6 hrs a day, no sit breaks. I’ve been wearing vans slip ons for so long, after developing a bunion and noticing worsening over pronation, I bought a pair of Brooks Anthem 8 to try. I wore them to work today and oh my GOD my low back, SI area, and hips hurt so bad. I know so many people who swear by these shoes! Should I have transitioned slower? Is this my punishment for wearing shitty flat ass shoes for so long?

Step counter for massage therapists?

I want to start counting my steps, but obviously the rings and watches/bracelets aren’t very practical with our job. I also do not carry my phone on me during massage. Have any of you found something different to count your steps? Just put a ring or bracelet in my pocket?

Prescription food nightmare!!

My 2 and 1/2 year old male cat had a UTI 2 weeks ago and has been diagnosed with crystals. He’s prescribed hills diet c/d and likes both the fish and chicken dry food, but I can’t seem to get him to eat the wet food. He hates pate, and will pick around the stews with veggies, and also will lick the gravy out of the Royal Canin SO cuts & gravy. I put extra water in them and sometimes he will drink it, most times turn his nose up and walk away. I’m getting worried because despite having three water fountains I rarely see him drink water. Sometimes I’ll see him drinking from the toilet. I’ve spent well over $200 the past two weeks trying to find any way to get him to eat and stay hydrated. Do they make any prescription gravies out there I can try? Or squeeze up treats? Any ideas? He loved his delectables squeeze up treats and Sheba cuts in gravy so much. I don’t know what else to do at this point! I’m so worried about him.
