Hi , i am looking to get a new walking/ running brooks shoe around the price range 80-100$, i have read that the adrenaline GT 24s really standout. Would love more recommendations and models from long term brooks users! Thank you!

My Ghost 15’s are in their final weeks. I bought the Ghost 17s pumped for the upgrade, but the toe box is too narrow for my liking and the extra padding on the ankle collar really protruded into my ankles in the worst way. I think going up to a wide will be too loose. Any recs for what I can pivot to for a neutral shoe? I’m bummed.

I have been getting brooks adrenaline size 7 women's shoes for 15 years but am trying to find sandals that fit similarly and still provide some support.

Any suggestions? Any brands with a similar fit?

I bought a pair of Glycerin Max 2 after really enjoying the original Glycerin Max.
I wanted to buy another pair of the original GM, but in Japan, and in my size, I couldn’t find them anywhere.
Despite reading a lot of negative reviews, I decided to give the GM2 a shot since they were easy to find.
What struck me was the firmer midsole, the tighter toe box, and the more aggressive rocker.
During my first run, I realized that many people reviewing the GM2 were trying too hard to compare it with both the original GM (fair enough) and the non-recovery shoes in their rotation.
I originally bought the GM because I injured my foot, and they are by far the best shoes I’ve tried for that purpose. However, I would say the GM2 feels more like a semi-recovery shoe. It is firmer and encourages a more active stride. You don’t really feel much energy return, and it remains a fairly neutral shoe (apart from the more pronounced rocker).
Overall, it feels like a strange mutation of the original Glycerin Max. It tries too hard to distance itself from the original, but not enough to truly fit into a different category, such as a tempo shoe.
So I wouldn’t say they’re bad running shoes. Rather, I think Brooks drifted too far away from what made the original GM special. They probably should have given them a different name and placed them in a different category to avoid the disappointment of Glycerin Max fans.

I work in health care, on my feet 6 hrs a day, no sit breaks. I’ve been wearing vans slip ons for so long, after developing a bunion and noticing worsening over pronation, I bought a pair of Brooks Anthem 8 to try. I wore them to work today and oh my GOD my low back, SI area, and hips hurt so bad. I know so many people who swear by these shoes! Should I have transitioned slower? Is this my punishment for wearing shitty flat ass shoes for so long?

For Ghost Max L , Brooks website says This runs small. We recommend buying a 1/2 size up. Does that mean 1/2 size up from your Ghost Max 2 size or normal regular shoe size ?

I walk around 6-8 miles every day, a mile each way to and from work and several at work. I got my Ghost Max 3 in January and at this point they're already starting to tear off from the base, and if there's any sort of rain at all (sometimes even wet grass) they seem to soak up water and my socks will get wet almost immediately

Before that pair I had the original Ghost Max for around 2 years, replaced because they started to wear down, and before that I had Glycerin 18 which lasted for about 4 years. No issues with either of these

When I started to get too irritated by my Max 3s I decided to try out some Hokas (Bondi Sr) but these were surprisingly uncomfortable, most likely just not a good match for my feet and not a problem with the shoes themselves, but they made me miss having Brooks again

Using the shoe finder on their site pointed me to Ghost 18 Glycerin 23 and Ghost Max 3 again, but not sure how much of this is based on what's good for me and what's just marketing.

I wear US 10 2E and as far as I know no special support or anything needed, I just want to walk around with relatively dry feet that aren't in pain

I know the ideal would be to go to a physical shop but any guidance is appreciated

Looking for some advice/opinions on which Brooks will work best for me with custom orthotics.

I have flat feet and seriously overpronate. My go tos for many years have been Adrenaline GTS, Glycerin GTS or Beast.

I just got some full length custom orthotics from a podiatrist and now need to redial in the right shoe.

Will my usual choices with the orthotics now be too much support and overcorrect?

What do others like when it comes to custom orthotics?

Just recently joined the brooks family, my husband bought me my first pair of Glycerin GTS 23 and they’re so comfy especially since I have wide flat feet. My question is, what socks do you use or recommend to wear with brooks?
