Should non-muslim living in Islamic countries allowed to practice their religions and attempt to convert people to their religion ? I was thinking about this question when a muslim friend of mine talked about how there's not enough religious freedom in the West .

I have an Arabic friend, he claims he's a devout Muslim, yet he goes out and drink with us regularly,but thanks to him, it's how I found Islam. He's a close friend of mine, and in one night of drinking , he invited me to a local mosque, I was an alcoholic , and I found a community there who understand and helped me. I'm not a fully devouted Muslim yet , I still go out and drink with him regularly , but I now go to the mosque every week , and listen to the Quran ( though I don't fully understand it , but I find it to be a very relaxing and calming activity ) , I'm not fully a follower so I hope my post still find its place here .
