How do I make this window better?

How do I make this window better?

I want my windows to look nice. I’ve tried everything to clean these bits - bleach, viengar, mould remover, scrubbing, and nothing works. Also looks like the bits are separating from each other? I know nothing about windows.

I live in Northeast England. For the last few weeks, I’ve noticed this path in my garden leading from the hedge to the garage (a separate shed, detached from my house). See figure 1.

This morning, I went in my garage to get my bike just after 8am, and there was an animal in the back near some old cardboard boxes. It jumped up and hit the ceiling, clearly started by my presence, and at first I thought it must be a bat or a bird. But then I saw it scamper on all fours along the ledge and out of sight, and when I followed its path, I found this hole in the garage about 6 inches in width. See figure 2.

As you might have guessed, the hole in figure 2 is located right next to the close end of the path shown in figure 1.

I didn’t get a great look at the animal, unfortunately. I think it might have been brown, and it was definitely larger than a mouse, but beyond that I’m not really sure. All I know is that it jumped high and ran quickly.

Two questions: what animal is this? And what should I do next?

Took a flight with EasyJet from Edinburgh to Europe last month. Flight was continuously delayed and then cancelled until the next morning. Flight was less than 1,500km but total time after original arrival time was 14 hours. EasyJet provided a hotel and £6 voucher. I submitted a claim for compensation, and was given this response: “the day of your flight, the equipment operating your flight was affected by an unforeseen issue which meant we were unable to operate your flight as scheduled. This issue was outside the airline’s control so unfortunately we cannot offer you compensation.”

Based on what I’ve read, a technical or operating issue is usually not considered extraordinary circumstances. Should I press for more detail on the nature of the delay to assess? I know it’s not a lot of compensation, but the experience was terrible and it’s the principle of the matter that I care about.
