Hello Seattle locals. I am planning a solo trip to Seattle in November for a few days (18-23) and am looking for hotel recs, things to do, and maybe advice on how cold its going to be. I will be going up to Leavenworth for a wedding via train the 20-22nd, and then coming back to Seattle 22-23.

I am not going to rent a car, I do not mind public transit, but obviously I want to stay in a more walkable area in Seattle that is also safe. I grew up in NYC so I am not afraid of much when it comes to 'sketchy areas', if that is any help.

^(Does anyone have any recommendations for laptops on the more economic side for Realtime Voice Training school? I am not ready to send it on a $3600 M-Tech laptop just yet and was wondering if anyone has any cheaper recommendations just to get me through school until I'm making more money. Or should I just invest in the whole package now? Any advice is appreciated!)

Hello. I am currently comparing schools to become a certified voice writing reporter in California. I have looked at CCR and IRCRI. I've also heard things about Real Time Voice Training, which is attractive to me as its only 20 weeks but I fear it may not prepare me adequately.

My goal is to finish school in a year and a half, permitting life allows me that. I work full time now as a marketing coordinator, and plan to stay full time through school. I am 27 and recently divorced after an 8 year marriage so I suddenly have a lot of free time and little direction in my life, for some reason this career path is calling to me. I am prepared for the vigor the training requires.
