I've been playing about with TZFM for some time now and not getting great results. I'm using Dixie/ Rubicon2 combo with lots of modulation available- maths/ moddemix/ woggle/ Pams.

All my patches just sound clangorous and dissonant. I know this is a big feature of FM, but I remember back in the day using FM8 and having some really nice gooey/ formant-like sounds. This is what I'm trying to reach- not metallic!

Any advice would be great. Thanks

What are your go-to patches for kicks?

I'm using Dixie 2 & Rubicon 2... but finding it difficult to get a good punching sound!

For envelopes I have WMD Javelin and Maths.

Some direction would be great!

Hi all.

Can anyone recommend a decent repair spot that could fix my BiFold?

It only seems to be picking up power with the ribbon cable loosely attached. When it's fully pushed in, there's no power. Also, its sounding very scratchy when the central FOLD knob is moved.

Any recommendations in London would be greatly appreciated!
