Parking at Centre Avenue federal offices

Can you get towed from parking in the research center lots housing the USDA and Forest Service, etc.? Has anyone who works ever seen this happen? If so, does it happen only during business hours or will it happen on the weekends? (The purpose of parking there is to access the Spring Creek Trail.)

I have a stab-lok electrical panel that I am getting estimates to replace (in front range Colorado.)

One estimate ranged from $8000 to $10,000, depending on the amps.

The rep who came out was very thorough in explaining everything and talked about everything that would need to be done.

This included putting in a new grounding line and a connection from the panel to the water main line.

One question I have is: Wouldn’t I already have those things in place, or has the code changed so now these are required? My house was built in 1976, and that’s probably when the electrical panel was put in.

The other question is whether a person can expect to get this work done in the proper way for less money than $8000 to $10,000.

I feel like the company is large and has the means to travel far distances and offer financing plans and spend time explaining why you need to choose them, and that is in fact what is costing so much.

I understand the value of proper work, but is that really what it is going to cost?

I do plan to get more estimates.
