Hello y'all!!!!

I’ll be in Luxembourg for about a week for a conference and had a few questions.

- For SIM/eSIM is there a way to buy and set up an eSIM before arriving? I’d prefer something I can arrange online in advance rather than figuring it out after I get there. Any recommendations?

- How reliable is public transport day to day? I’ll be staying a bit far from the venue, so wondering if commuting is still convenient. Also, is the Mobiliteit app recommended?

- Any tips for affordable food chains or supermarkets? Trying to keep things budget-friendly as a student 😅

- Any places you’d recommend for exploring?

- Do ATMs generally accept Visa cards, or should I plan something else for cash?

- Also any general do’s/don’ts or things I should know as a first-time visitor

TYSM in advance!

Edit: I'm coming from India, if that's relevant for SIM/cards etc.

Hi everyone, I (21f) wanted to ask if anyone else deals with something like this.

My dad has a very short temper and tends to react negatively to really small things at home. Even normal questions sometimes turn into shouting or sounding irritated, and it just creates this tense mood out of nowhere. It’s not like he’s always like this, there are good moments too and he jokes around sometimes, but these reactions happen often enough that it affects me a lot.

My mom just ignores it and doesn’t react. When I asked her, she said she’s used to it and doesn’t let it bother her anymore. I wish I could do that, but I find it really hard. It ends up affecting my mood and sometimes ruins my whole day.

I’ve tried talking to him calmly before, but those conversations usually make things worse instead of better. I also feel like at his age ( he is in his 60s) I probably can’t change how he is.

I used to stay away from home for studies, so this wasn’t something I dealt with daily. Now I’m home doing my masters and it’s becoming really draining. Also trying to move out, but with the job market it's not something I can do immediately.

If anyone has gone through something similar, how do you deal with it without letting it get to you?
