I made a new (free) data analysis site for helping you to understand the meta.

Hello, I have recently been building a stats website focused on players who are trying to achieve the maximum potential out of their gameplay by optimising every choice that they are making in deckbuilding, and it has reached a point where I am happy for people to take a look at it and give me their thoughts : )

The main features of the site that I think people will find most interesting are the following:

  1. Detailed unit statistics (%pickrate, time of purchase, spawns per pick, % of spec spending)
  2. Detailed spec statistics (%pickrate, pickrate with other specs so you can see the most popular combos, %pickrate only on certain maps)
  3. The ability to filter both of the above in any way that you would want (so you can see how much a unit is picked only in certain spec combos, or only at a certain timeframe, or see how it changes in different Elo brackets)
  4. A custom graph builder that allows you to compare any unit to any other unit, any spec to any other, shows you exactly how fair and unfair the matchmaker is depending on your elo, shows you how unbalanced different maps are and in exactly which ways).
  5. And plenty more that you can discover by your own exploration : )

Currently the data includes every match played(~100,000) from the 14th of September -> 7th of October, with a random selection of ~5000 matches played in the weeks before that for comparison purposes. I am hoping that in time STB will give me direct access to the match data API, which would allow me to more easily keep my data current, and also offer an even more extensive feature set.

Corrin did a wonderful showcase of the sites features and potential use cases if people would find a video useful to help understand how to use it - but other than that I would love to hear any and all feedback, which would be best directed to my discord here.

Thank you to anyone who takes a look, I hope that it helps you in some small way to improve your understanding of the game.

Break up with your bloc, you're bored. (6Q-R50 Dreadbrawl AAR)

Today Onlyfleets+Drake+WOMP+Allies engaged in glorious dreadnought PVP against ChuangShi+Allies.

We initially thought that the fight would be over the keepstar armor timer, but they formed early and diverted to a Fortizar timer instead, and during transit back from this Fort the fight started after they got caught on a gate, where the full escalation happened.

All things considered, this had the potential to be a very close fight - the overall numbers on both sides were very similar, with us managing to edge out them on caps but subcap numbers being a complete wash. I hope both sides had fun, because we surely did. It shows the potential for midscale content is already extremely high, and its is only going to get better once the Ansiblex changes come into force.

But there is an Elephant in the room, 600 INIT linemember shaped elephants to be exact. I know that all of you had fun getting to shoot some dreads, who wouldn't - but my question to you is that if you did enjoy this, why are you not going to join independent small/midscale groups?

Is it really more fun to third party and nibble around the edges of the fight despite having the strongest comp on grid?

Is it really more fun to not be a part of any of these fights happening in a capacity other than seeing them on zkill and showing up with no stakes?

Is it really fun to sit in your home region, having explicitly declared peace, not deploying, doing absolutely nothing at all other than this?

We use our dreads every week and the reason that you aren't is because you haven't right click quit corp.

Break up with your bloc, I know that you are bored.

I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF AI GENERATED POSTS ON THIS SUBREDDIT

Maybe the young ens of this subreddit don't remember how good this place used to be, but let me spin you a tale.

We used to have home-grown, gmo free, completely natural schizophrenics on this subreddit every single day, and nowadays we have fourteen em-dashes and a thesaurus being thrown at every post.

Does anyone even remember stainguy anymore? he literally shitposted a lowsec gate into stain into existence ON HIS OWN.

Does anyone remember when instead of AI slop we had the worlds least skilled photoshop users trying their absolute best to make the lowest quality images ive ever seen in my life.

Does anyone remember if doomchinchilah ever heard about rorqual nerfs? Does anyone remember how completely terrible the posting was from every single side when blackout happened? the carebears who were TIRED OF YOUR FUCKING SHIT?

Its so fucking boring reading the same post 18 times, i want to read the posts of people who are so fucking angry about getting suicide ganked in their officer fit marauders running hisec combat anoms that they come here to SEETHE about it while having an unfathomably terrible grasp of the english language.

it has come to the point where I welcome caema posts showing up. this isn't okay and you all need to collectively do better.
