GAMEVERSE - made in 2010 while in college.

I found an old computer and fixed it enough to see what files I could find and I found my old files for a board game I made over 15 years ago. I can't publish or sell it because it's full of copyrighted material... but I remember having fun playing it back then...

So take the files. Rules, turns, even the old terrible board design that was made at the time is in there. As well as all cards. And... two ways to play. I guess I always cared about variety. Just print and have fun!

Trying my best to not be a perfectionist.

But I love when everything comes together. Good brain tingles because I'm learning a new program (Scribus) and designing things again. I love the logo for the in game lore, but I've spent multiple hours looking up tutorials and learning just to get this done that I have neglected more important issues for a PROTOTYPE. Lol.

Rule book will be styled like this.

Story based scenario book will be styled like various found journals in the world.

I can't believe I'm actually getting things done.

And as always, constructive criticism is always welcomed.

I'm currently working on a 4 player co-op survival story building game with roguelike inspirations and branching narrative scenarios. I'm almost done with the actual systems and story branches, and I've already completed the basic core loop, board design template, tokens and pieces.

I'm close to getting ready to build an actual prototype and I was wondering if there were any tips on how and where people have done their playtesting. I have a list of post game questions as well.

Honestly, I'm just excited that I'm getting close to this milestone! And if anybody is interested in any more details, I'm down to share a few more.
