Renewal time is coming up for me. My circumstances have changed and I’m not shooting professionally at the moment, so was thinking of reducing my costs and getting the perpetual license instead. I’m around 95% certain it’s the right thing to do, and I can always start a subscription again if I need to, but I guess I’m looking for resssurance.

I have searched through the group, but I haven’t found anything exactly relevant to my situation at the moment.
I started 5 mg methylphenidate (Tranquilyn) (my second titration attempt) and everything appear to be going well after the first week.
On the second week, I started to get some pain and discomfort in my upper back, between my shoulder blades. I would wake up first thing in the morning in a lot of pain and with limited movement. Over the course of the day, the pain and stiffness would dissipate.
This went on for a week, until it was unbearable. I could barely get out of bed with the pain and Every sneeze was a 9 out of 10 pain. I contacted my Doctor , who referred me to physio, who said one of the muscle groups in my back was going into spasm and was “
hanging on for dear life”.
I also contacted my titration team who did say that muscle spasms could be a potential side-effect, so we agreed to discontinue taking the medication.
It’s another week later, and my back is still spasming like crazy in the morning. I’m just wondering, has anyone had the same or a similar experience? If you have, how long did it take the spasms to die down?

Just realised I got hit with a double adhd tax tonight. Two 1 month app trials that I forgot to cancel this month. Total cost: £198. I swear I’ll never do a trial again. 🤦🏼♂️ sorry. Just needed to get that off my chest.
