PSA: If you own a cooling pad (IETS, Ilano etc.), always turn on the fans at least a little bit if you play games

I have the IETS GT500 and it works great, reduces the temps by 10-15°C. However, if you have your laptop on the stand and play a game, always turn on the fan at least a little bit. If you use it on the cooling pad without it being on, the laptop internal fans have a harder time and you will get higher temps compared to if the laptop would be just sitting flat on your desk. Might be obvious for a lot of people but for me it definitely was an "AHA!" moment, lol.

Help me decide please: Objective for EOS R10 to capture e.g. birds in the distance.

I was looking into the Canon EF 75-300mm F4.0-5.6 III with an EF/RF adapter, but I read the objective is shit, however I dont want to overspend. At the moment I only have the 18-150mm objective. Thank you in advance!

Edit: After thinking about all your answers (thank you) I decided to invest a little more and went for the RF 100-400mm.

I undervolted my RTX 5070 Ti to 770mV at 2300MHz, so similar to the clocks without UV at the balanced power setting (in MSI Center), but instead of around 80°C (even after a repaste with PTM and Thermal Grizzly putty) on the GPU I am hovering between 68°C and 72°C with a 99%-100% GPU load in, for example, Crimson Desert! I set an FPS limit of 120 though.

My CPU is -50mV (cache only at -30mV) with a TPL1/2 of 45, keeping a steady clock of 4.5Ghz, hovering at temps between 75-85°C.
