New monitor choice: OLED or Mini-LED?

I'm almost tempted to get a new 27-inch 2K gaming monitor. OLED technology obviously hypes me up quite a bit, but it seems to me you have to drop at least €400 on it. Alternatively, there are Mini-LEDs, which, besides getting pretty close to OLED quality, would be a bit more versatile in case one wanted to use it for work, video editing, etc., besides gaming. Correct me if I'm wrong. I took a look at the prices and with €300 you should be able to take home a good 27-inch, 2K gaming Mini-LED. What do you guys think?

Friends who no longer have fun playing eFootball.

You don't have fun because sometimes you feel almost "forced" to play a certain way, according to the dictates of the so-called META. Almost all of us, including myself, follow certain guidelines or try to copy the formations of pro players. Up to a point that's fine too, but what's even more important is figuring out what our truly preferred playstyle is. What type of players we love using. How we genuinely like to organize our attacking and defensive phases. For example, paradoxically, I defend better with quick counter-attack than with out wide, because it fits my own gameplay dynamics. And if it's not meta, who cares?! If I face someone stronger than me, I'm going to lose anyway.

We need to break away from the unhealthy mindset of winning at all costs. I know so many players who are willing to play in a way that completely goes against their inclinations just for the sake of a win, which they then routinely fail to get, because they don't realize this is a game.

Playing means having fun, and only through having fun can you learn new things and get better.

You shouldn't be afraid of defeats. If you had fun, you have achieved the most noble purpose of gaming. The wins will come.

Don’t give up so easily.

Let me start by saying that I’m not a pro player, but simply someone who has to work really hard to make it to the top division.

What I’m noticing more and more is that a lot of lads quit far too quickly.

Take, for example, the last two matches I’ve played: in the first match, I went into half-time leading 2–0. Early in the second half, I hit the post and the crossbar, and my opponent quit at the 55 minutes.

In the most recent match, on the other hand, I scored at 62 minutes. My opponent would have had plenty of time to equalise or even win – because I can assure you he was playing well – yet he quit as if he’d already taken it for granted that he’d lose.

I never quit, because in my opinion it’s always possible to turn the match around. I don’t quit even if I’m losing 3–0, because I think that sometimes you learn much more from defeats than from victories. I try to understand the tactics and technique of skilled opponents. I make the most of it to learn something.

Once I lost 7–2, but I wasn’t disappointed and I didn’t get angry. I just thought that certain defeats can provide inspiration to improve and correct certain mistakes.

Does it make sense to assign the ‘defensive’ individual instruction to a CB Destroyer?

In your expert opinion, if someone has a surplus of strong right-wing destroyer CBs and some half-baked Build-ups, might it make sense to use a destroyer with the ‘defensive’ individual instruction to make it look vaguely like a Build-up? Is that a sensible idea or intergalactic rubbish?

I want Roberto Baggio, despite the ‘Classic No. 10’ playing style.

Let me explain my inner struggle. I was about to be swayed by the Italian pack featuring Buffon, Pirlo and Zambrotta. Then I learnt that next Monday the pack featuring Roberto Baggio, Romario and Lothar Matthäus is coming out.

As far as I’m concerned, Roberto Baggio is the greatest Italian player of all time in his position. He’s definitely my favourite player and, what’s more, I’ve been waiting for him since the dawn of eFootball. Right now, I’d have the resources to pick him up, but there’s something holding me back. I’m talking about the ‘Classic No. 10’ playstyle. It’s not meta and is probably one of the least popular playstyles in general. That said, however, we’re talking about a fabulous card with insane stats and incredibly important skills.

In the same pack as Baggio, we have Romario who, as you all know, is one of the strongest strikers in the game. I don’t have a ‘goal poacher’ as strong as him in my squad. As for Matthäus, he too needs no introduction. He is undoubtedly one of the strongest ‘box-to-box’ players in the game.

Of the two packs, the one that appeals to me most is undoubtedly the one with Roberto Baggio, mainly for sentimental reasons.

However, as I’ve already said, I can’t deny that that playing style leaves me rather perplexed.

I’m turning to you for your opinion on the ‘Classic No. 10’ playing style. Do you think it’s such a negative style, or do you consider it valid?
I realise that a player’s special abilities must also be taken into account, regardless of their playing style. Team play and the fact that every single player has a different ID must also be considered. However, you are probably better placed than I am to explore all these points. Please help me understand what to do. Thank you.

But at the end of the day, is this France package worth it or not?

Let’s start by assuming that coach Deschamps has an incredibly good line-up. After so many pointless or absurd line-ups, it was about time we got one that actually made sense. I’m talking about the link-up.

Mbappé, Dembélé and Olise seem like really strong cards; obviously, looking at it from the perspective of a free-to-play player, we’re on the same page (?).

Is 1,500 coins a fair price, or is it too much? In my humble opinion, a pack like this is a godsend for a F2P player, especially for those who have only recently started playing eFootball, but also for those who, hypothetically, have been chasing a decent Dembele or Mbappé card for some time.

But bear in mind that the other cards aren’t half bad either. Some 83-rated players even get an extra boost when used with a 90-rated manager.

These packs are specifically aimed at F2P players or those who want to spend little, who clearly don’t like throwing money into pools.

Then again, some people forget that, if they want to, even a F2P player can pool a 150-card paid pack, provided they have the patience and Zen-like self-control to save up 13,500 coins – even if, whilst waiting, the seasons pass, your dog might die of old age, your son might start growing a moustache, or that 500-season TV series might have reached its final episode.

Is the incredible Maldini–Cannavaro–De Rossi trio really worth my coins?

https://preview.redd.it/q0qlqlx03a1h1.png?width=392&format=png&auto=webp&s=cb250dbf736da9ed2998cb6cc5edc35930239146

There’s no doubt about Maldini. He’s the best full-back in the game… and I’ve only got one strong defensive full-back: the legendary, 37-year-old Costacurta. For me, Maldini would be a real gem.

As for Cannavaro, he’s the reason I haven’t bought this new pack yet, because I already have an epic Cannavaro, a very strong 33-year-old. I don’t know if he’s any weaker than this new epic Cannavaro from Juventus, aged 31.

Then there’s the defensive midfielder De Rossi. As you can see from the photo, my strongest defensive midfielders are Rijkaard and Henderson. I’m not complaining about them at all, but I suppose this De Rossi is clearly stronger.

What do you think? Is it worth spending coins on this squad?

Should I just delete these 88 GB, or is there any chance I’ll be able to launch the game? Many thanks to anyone who’s kind enough to reply.

I know there’s been a lot of discussion about cameras in this group, but in this specific case, I’d like to focus solely on the custom stadium camera.

I’m addressing, in particular, those players who use only this type of camera and have gained some experience with it over time.

What are your preferred settings for zoom, height, and angle?
