Roblox anime games are wasting insane potential

I’ve been thinking about Roblox anime games, and I feel like there’s a huge gap nobody has fully nailed yet.

A lot of games are either arena battlegrounds where you just pick an existing character and fight, simulator/grind games where numbers go up but you don’t really feel like a character, RPG games that are cool but locked into one anime, or random “Steal a Brainrot” style games that are fun for 10 minutes but have no real identity.

I think “make your own character” anime games can work, but only if the game is still clearly connected to anime power fantasies.

Nobody is going to care about a random original anime RPG where you make “your own warrior” if it doesn’t feel like it comes from something people already love.

The better idea would be a Roblox anime progression game where you create your own character, but your progression is based on recognizable anime archetypes.

Not playing as Ichigo, Aizen, Gojo, Madara, Jotaro, etc.

More like becoming your own character with a power path inspired by those kinds of characters.

For example:

  • Soul weapon path for Bleach-style progression
  • Shinobi/chakra path for Naruto-style progression
  • Stand path for JoJo-style progression
  • Curse energy path for JJK-style progression
  • Fruit/pirate path for One Piece-style progression
  • Breathing/demon path for Demon Slayer-style progression

Then each path could have different style sets.

A soul weapon user could go for a speed/pressure build, an illusion/control build, or a hollow/aggressive build.

A shinobi could go for fire/destruction, eye-based control, speed/teleportation, or beast/chakra forms.

A curse energy user could go for space/control, raw physical power, summons, or domain-focused progression.

The point is that you are still making your own character, but the game gives you anime identity. You are not just a random custom OC with generic moves. You feel like you belong in an anime world.

That’s why games like Type Soul and Shindo Life work even when they’re messy. They let players feel like they are actually becoming someone in an anime universe, not just grinding numbers.

The ideal version of this game would take:

  • Type Soul’s freedom and race identity
  • Paradox/Peroxide-style progression
  • Shindo Life’s multi-anime power mixing
  • Anime Battle Arena-style character movesets
  • Deepwoken/GPO-style reputation and world presence

But the important thing is balance. You shouldn’t be able to stack Bankai + Susanoo + Stand + Domain Expansion + Gear 5 and become a goofy admin command.

A good system would be something like:

  • 1 main anime power system
  • 1 secondary borrowed technique
  • 1 weapon/fighting style
  • 1 transformation
  • 1 ultimate

That way players can make unique builds without everyone becoming the same overloaded anime god.

The real appeal would be identity. Players would log in because:

“This is my character.”
“This is my build.”
“This is my faction.”
“This is my reputation on the server.”

The dream version would have factions, ranks, trials, bosses, PvP zones, world events, squad/clan systems, betrayals, and builds people actually recognize.

Like imagine people saying:

“Don’t go to that area, the illusion/soul hybrid guy is online.”

That’s when a Roblox anime game becomes legendary.

I know this would be hard to make, especially with balancing and copyright issues, but I feel like the concept has way more long-term potential than another brainrot tycoon or basic battleground clone.

So thats why im trying to start a game similar to this concept and im looking for a dev group if anybody is interested please reach me either from my discord (baesbubaa) or through my reddit dm's

I realised that there was no Greek agents in the game, so i made one

Sorry for my eye-slaughtering art work im new to arts in general

I designed a VALORANT agent called Nereus, an Initiator inspired by Greek mythology and deep-sea sonar warfare. The agent’s real name is Γιώργιος Πάλεσσος, a former deep-sea rescue diver who was altered by an unknown oceanic anomaly and now perceives movement as “waves of memory.” His kit is built around a new concept called predictive intelligence, where instead of directly revealing enemies, he reconstructs their recent movement patterns through sound, distortion, and delayed “echo” data. His ultimate, Poseidon’s Arena, turns a site into a warped underwater combat zone where vision, sound, and movement timing are partially desynced, while Nereus gains a semi-transparent movement state that rewards high-level positioning and timing. The idea is to create a high-skill Initiator who doesn’t just give information, but changes how players interpret space, pressure, and timing in fights.

Abilities
C — Thalassa Fracture
Creates a thin water wall that records enemies crossing through it. After a short delay, the wall reveals the direction and movement speed of anyone who passed through.
Q — Sonic Depth Pulse
Throws a sonar orb that scans in 3 pulses. Each pulse gives more accurate information about enemy positions, rewarding smart timing and prediction.
E — Aegean Memory (Signature)
Places a memory anchor that replays movement sounds and traces from a recent area. Useful for gathering intel, faking pressure, and predicting rotations.
X — Poseidon’s Arena (Ultimate)
Creates a large underwater arena that distorts sound and vision. Inside the zone, enemies leave wave-like movement trails while Nereus becomes partially transparent while moving, allowing him to reposition and control fights through confusion and prediction rather than raw damage.
