Hello,

I’m having a problem with my P1S, and I can’t figure out what’s going on.

It sometimes seems to lose track of its position, as if it no longer knows where the print head is.

During the automatic homing at the beginning of a print, the print head visibly bumps into the frame. It feels like it’s no longer detecting the end of travel correctly.

Sometimes the purge line is shifted, and other times it even prints two purge lines about 3 cm (over an inch) apart.

Today it did this (see the attached video).

I’ve noticed that the problem seems to happen more often when I’m printing large objects that use almost the entire build plate. However, it can also happen with prints located in the middle of the plate, while other prints complete without any issue. So I’m really confused.

For reference, I’ve already cleaned the X-axis rods and re-tensioned the belts.
