It’s been five weeks since I was offered a position. I’ve completed my onboarding documents and allocated training. I called my store about two weeks ago to find out when I’d get my first shift. They said there’s currently a backlog, that they haven’t forgotten about me, and that I’ll receive an email about my first shift.

Should I continue to wait? I was hoping to start before going on a family holiday overseas. I’ve already submitted my unavailability through the app, but should I also call the store and let the manager know?

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the mandatory online training assigned?

Hello, I’ve just been employed and have completed the onboarding. I’ve been waiting for the training material to show up, but the only thing that has appeared so far is a statement that needed to be completed within 30 days. How long does it usually take for the training videos to become available?
