Why is jumping before a Shatter so instinctual

I know its easier to kill me or stun me out of it, but I still do it, it feels so much fatter, and I know I cant be the only rein main who does it

How and why did this happen?

I was doing pretty decent on Rein this game and I went 31-11 i even got voted MVP but somehow this happened?? (Yes I know im in silver so no need to make fun of me)

Does anyone remember this game?

I remember playing a decently old Godzilla game when I was much younger I dont remember much about it beside the fact it began with skydiving through a red mist? Maybe around 2012-2016. Any ideas?
