New Eidola Single - 10.08.26
Looking forward to hearing this.

Looking forward to hearing this.
If either Ben or Francis wins the US Open, it will make history for several reasons:
It will be either Ben or Frances' 1st GS
It will be the 1st time an American has won it since Andy Roddick
It will be the 1st time an African American male player won a GS since Arthur Ashe.
It will be the 1st time a person of African descent won since Yannick Noah.
I skip it basically everytime. Call it confirmation bias, but I definitely see this augment quite frequently compared to the plethora of augments out there.
Thanos FF aka TWAG took 6/8 of the top 8 spots in the Golden Gauntlet. Strong showing but couldn't close out the deal. Anyone surprised and do you see any changes coming? It's both popular and powerful.
Just wanted to shout out to SD for constantly evolving their game and really expanding on the design space of their game. New keywords that keep the game fresh, but also not overbearing.
Since coming back, I loved seeing new mechanics added like End of Turn, Activate, Objective etc. Now Quickdraw.
I'm curious to see what other mechanics they will implement, but hopefully expanding on what is already existing. I don't want SD to fall into a trap like other TCGS where a mechanic is just pushed for a set until the new one appears and the older mechanic gets no support.
What other mechanics would you like to see come to Snap?
I love DGDs song titles on their album and the hype of guessing how badass it might be before listening.
What’s one song where the title completely lived up to your expectations before you even heard it, and one where the title let you down?
Easily the best Mysterio variant I have ever seen.
This is just an annoyance I have with Marvel Snap when it comes to Discard.
It seems that Discard always gets the short end of the stick compared to it's other archetype counterparts Move and Destroy.
- Skills: Move and Destroy have 2 skills while Discard has 0. This allows those archetypes to explore more direction of deck-building compared to Discard.
- Activate: Discard's activate card is so lackluster compared to the other 2 archetypes. Destroy has Kid Omega, and Zombie Captain Marvel. Move has Sparky and Araña. Lower cost Activate abilities. What does Discard get? Bloody Hell Cow. As a 4 drop, it's not pushing what he archetype needs, and Zombie Captain Marvel is also a 4 drop but gains tons more value when it's Activate is activated.
- Death vs Weapon H. Both are boss mosters that have their cost reduced when a condition is met. Death is a better topdeck and even is both archetypes reward you for doing their thing, Death rewards you more long term. Weapon H is also harder to reduce because it's not guaranteed compared to Death. Again, Discard getting the short end of the stick.
- Subarchetype: Move is a main archetype and Movable is a subarchetype which SD is exploring more with cards like Aunt May etc. Discard has a subarchetype as well but hasn't been given an official name. You have Discard as the main archetype and cards that return to hand when discarded as a subarchetype. I would like a name for this and have expanded support.
Overall, Discard archetype can use an overhaul. Cards like Moon Knight shouldn't be a 3/4 in today's meta when it's not guaranteed it will hit. We should have a card that discards odd-Cost cards and a lot of design space for the archetype is not explored. What are your thoughts?
I have been toying around with discard forever and always trying to make it viable out side the Daken, Bulleye, wombo combo nonsense.
I bring to you a new way to play discard.
Quinjet - Discounts your Ebony Blade and Khonshu as it becomes a created card when discarded.
Black Knight - To help fulfill the created card requirement for Gambit HoD
Blade - Discard staple
Morbius - Discard scaler
Swarm - Help trigger GHoD as discarding them twice means it will fulfill the requirement
Zombie Powerman - Help
Gambit - Field disruption
Corvius Glaive - Ramp and speed up the discard pool
Gambit HoD - More field disruption. Help get rid of those pesky 1 drops
Lady Sif - 1 card enabler to get a big Ebony Blade or Khonshu to trigger Gambit
Khonshu - Help resurrect a card from the discard and trigger Gambit
Weapon H - Big boy to be be fuel for Zombie Powerman
My issue isn't about the economy or card balance, rather how cards function and resolve.
I have been playing tcgs for years, (MTG, YGO, Elestrals, Riftbound, Digimon, Pokemon, DBS, etc.) cards follow a logic where you try to resolve as much as possible.
In Runeterra, the card resolves as much as possible as well, but you have no decision making where a card goes. That in itself is fine, but the issue comes where certain cards "fizzle" thus can cost you a game.
For example,
If a location is Miniaturized Lab and there are two locations that have less power for Proxima Midnight to go to including Miniaturized Lab, there is a chance that Proxima would fizzle because it can go to the Miniaturized Lab.
In a paper tcg, Midnight would just go to the other location because 1) It's a valid legal target for Midnight to resolve. 2) You can't play it in a location where you can't play the card.
I just wish the game would add a logic where if there is an available location to place a card, it would go to that location. I can't choose where I want to place Proxima as the game decides for me, but I shouldn't have to lose out because of something I can't control knowing there is another location that is a valid target.
This also applies for Khonshu and Prof X. If you play Khonshu and the revived card would go to the Prof X lane, the card just fizzles even though there is another available location target.
TLDR: If you have a card that adds another card to a location and there there is a chance the card would fizzle even if there is another valid location target as the game decides for you.
For my final tattoo, I am trying to find inspiration to complete my half sleeve in my inner bicep.
I have a fictional wolf theme going on. On my chest, is Kindred from League of Legends, then I have Death from Puss & Boots.
I would love to hear yalls thoughts and ideas.
As a discard main, I was really looking forward to playing this, but this deck is a pile of hot trash. The 1st Ghost Rider only having 1 viable target which is Ironman.
You want to discard The Infinaut for the Ebony Blade combo, so that's 1 less good Dragon Lord Target. Idk man, this deck seems to be all over the place
Anyone have success with this deck?
Information that is public as well as prior actions from both players taken from previous rounds should be in a digital card game. Thoughts?
Before I went on a Snap hiatus, Hela carried me to Infinite several times, so when her Ultimate Variant came at the shop I had to get her and I got her to the max level.

What card(s) did you get to Max Level?

As a discard enjoyer I enjoy tinkering with new ways to play the archetype. Does discard have a place in the meta? I have seen a bit of the Modok, Marrow combo stuff which is cool.
My main issue is I believe Second Dinner doesn't fully grasp Discard.
The buffs to Lady Sif and Hell Cow are nice but they don't need additional power, rather discard cards should have some better effects.
Hell Cow going from discard 2 in reveal to Activate: Discard 1 is so bland, especially when you compare it to other 4 drops
What would you like to see more in discard and what do you feel the archetype is lacking?
May you all be Blessed in the Mess 🙏🏾
I just realized Monstro is an 8/8 because he's an octopus. >_<
