Now i was working on not a map but rather a chapter that has two maps and a few pharaohs explaining each, something like this:

War or the black sea

Insert map of the black sea here—>

And then here is where i explained the history of the war.

Then:

*the twenty gates of maehwaryeong (the country name)

Then the map goes here again.

And again here i explained the history and Lore of these gates.

So, long story short these wars and maps are important to the story however they are not the main focus as much the main couple, maybe 60% to 40%.

My editor thinks i should add the chapter at the very beginning, i feel like that could be too much info dump at the begining, what do you guys think?

Hello guys, looking for a beta for my historical ow, currently the story is 12,5k words around 3-4k words per chapter, so far i have 5 chapters.

The summary is:

Lee hyo, a top military officer, no matter how many women he attempts to lay with, none seems to be able to satisfy him. “why don’t you try a man’s body” his close friend suggests.

Lee hyo, offended by his friends implication he tries in a final attempt to prove him wrong, he was not a sodomite.

he meets myungha, a prostitute..a man that brings unfamiliarity to his heart, the closer he goy to him, the more uncertain cloud around myungha formed.

Was he going to prove his friend right? And will his sense of duty win over lust?

Im looking for someone to read and tell me what parts did they not feel engaged in, or if there are any sentences that did not make sense, or if some parts threw you off or were cringe etc.

Im mostly looking for feedback on the flow of the story and how fun is it.

I use an old phone so a lot of apps dont work for me, so using an unrevealed ao3 collection to exchange the chapters sounds like a good method to me, im open to try other methods if they work on my device.

This is honestly so annoying, not everything is communicating yall be just overusing the phrase atp.

Take blossoms of the white night, like yall DO realise that they literally havent even spent like not even two months together as an adult married couple right? No buddy they do NOT needa communicate un existing feelings so shut up sit down and enjoy the story.

Or take accidental baby, the bottom knew the top for less that a month and people be like “THEY NEED TO COMMUNICATE” GURL THEYRE NOT EVEN IN LOVE YET??!! Let the story progress in peace dude.

Especially when its a big fandom, this kind if thing could always trip the author.
