Lancer Pizza Pie 4G92 Turbo project "Mini Evo 6"

I am planning on doing a project on trying to replicate a budget version of an Evo FWD. Already tallied up how much would be the costs it would take to partake in this project but I'd like to ask your inputs if it's worth it. Essentially turbocharging the 4G92 with stock internals (low-moderate boost) on a FWD system. Any tips also on the Pizza Pie generation and what are the common issues regarding it? Thank you.

I'd like this as an experiment to see how close you could get to an Evo experience with the lowest budget possible. Eventually will actually assemble an Evo 6 down the line once I get an AWD drivetrain and Evo 4G63T.

Good tuning shops around NCR for Civic FD 1.8?

Hello, does anyone know any great tuning shops that are not tight on the budget for a Civic FD? Planning to do a good remap tune, preferably hoping to get good gains on HP and to improve low-end RPM torque. I know about how Civics are much easier to tune and have better aftermarket support than my other car which needs a piggyback ECU. Preferably near Manila/QC border area, thank you!

Thoughts on old Subaru Foresters?

(Picture for reference)

I kinda want these old Subaru Foresters as a secondary car for hauling more people, and also since I really like the design. However, I don't think this might be reliable.

I am looking for something that is a bit fun to drive and at the same time kaya sumabak on light off roading and sa malubak na kalsada in NCR.

They are pretty cheap for an SUV but I feel like may caveats at may malaking asterisks kaya bakit mura lang ang generation na Forester na 'to.

What do you think? Any owner experience?

Manual drivers: any tips to make first gear to second smoother?

I've been driving a manual car from time to time and managed to aced my driving tests last year, pero bitin yun driving school. I resorted to getting an automatic myself but I occasionally drive my dad's Vios if I wanted to make driving not feel boring. Pero I have this dilemma: everytime I go from a standstill or in first gear, the car is always rough or jerky, and if I shift to first and second it would occasionally jerk. Yes I am able to shift smooth sometimes and I would be able to shift smooth on other gears (and even able to downshift properly without any jerkiness) pero first gear is always my nightmare. Anyone can give tips on how to make my ride smoother?

I know how to "biting point depress" on standstill traffic so the car won't lug, and I would always upshift 2nd gear as soon as the car starts moving (at around 10-20 km/h), pero it's always pag first to second is my only kryptonite. Is it because I released the clutch too fast or too slow or did I give it too much throttle? What do you think? Any advice is great, thank you!

Also I don't resort to riding the clutch as well, I'd go with the "go to biting point, car starts moving, then depress so the car moves slowly" technique. I also still find it to be driving much slower in a manual compared to an automatic, well I can keep up with traffic and not too slow to the point that it's dangerous.

People who have fiberglass body kits: How is it?

To people na naglagay sila ng fiberglass kit, worth it ba sa presyo? Malaki kasi ang bawas compared to an actual plastic body kit. Is it durable enough?

Civic FD owners: How much did it cost for you to modify it externally?

Hello, I am inheriting a Civic FD soon and after the quick small repairs (oil leak and exhaust leak) I have a planned modification list for it, basically keeping an eye out for a Mugen body kit with carbon fibre hood and Mugen RR rear bumper but with the FD2R front bumper. Was thinking kung meron dito with the same build modifications or similar modifications, how much did it cost for y'all? I am ready to pour around ~200K on this car as it will be my project car + daily.

I also plan on upgrading its suspension to coilovers + an UEL header and a valvetronic dual-tip exhaust from Shopee (para tahimik kapag gabi na). No plans yet for real modifications but I don't think I will since it will be a daily and my old car will be sold for funds on the car.

Anyone know what motorcycle is this?

Saw it earlier, it sounded like an inline-four or has more than one cylinder. I like the rear taillight design. If anyone knows what it is I might check it out hehe

Upcoming: Toyota is releasing a new Celica with around ~400 HP (Source: carwow)

Video Link

What do you think? Looks like a baby GR GT.

It is a mid-engined all-wheel drive car with close to ~400 HP.
Supposed release date is in 2028.

I like how Toyota is finally making sports cars again, especially honoring V8 engines again with their GR GT.

Where do you guys buy your own motor oil?

For people who buy their own oil or do their own oil change, where do you buy reputable motor oil? I was thinking of doing it online, but there's rampant fake motor oils and oils that look too cheap to be true. Please give me some insights. Looking for 5W40. Thanks.

Somewhere near Manila or Q.C thanks.
