Running Mac v15.5, just unzipped it and immediately get this message:

You can’t open this application “PS3 Disc Dumper” because this application is not supported on this Mac.

I can’t see how that could possibly be true, given this version of the disc dumper software was released three weeks ago. As far as I can tell from scouring every corner of the internet and wiki, there is no possible solution to this error.

What the heck do I do? Am I really supposed to install a way older version of Mac OS, or is this some other issue? Everything I’ve come across just says “no solution, get a decrypted iso from a website”

I’m literally giving up on this and coming back tomorrow, because I’m starting to tear my hair out

This is driving me up a wall, and I’m ready to tear my hair out.

So for context, the original 1928 score for “Passion of Joan of Arc” (composed for its Paris Premiere) survives… however, it is not included on any Blu-Ray or DVD release.

I am trying to find a recording of this music, so I can pair it with the film, and after having scoured literally every corner of the internet I cannot find any recording of it. Not even a CD release that I can buy!

I know Gillian Anderson found and recreated the sheet music for it in 1995… but all records seem to indicate that performance was never recorded! So there’s literally no option anywhere to listen to the score as it would’ve been heard in 1928, that is completely absurd! I get it wasn’t Dreyer’s intention to have a score at all, but then why have the retroactive “Visions of Light” score and not the actual score from when the film came out in 1928?

Is there really nowhere one can hear the original version? I feel like I’m screaming into the void, I’ve searched everywhere and there’s no other resources to dig, it’s driving me simply crazy!

Hey everyone, I’m attempting to do a restoration of a public domain/silent movie in an editing timeline (not affiliated with any studio or organization, purely because I want to and official releases haven’t been historically accurate).

The source print file is in 20 fps. The problem is, when importing it, the popup to “modify project settings” doesn’t appear (I suspect because of the unusual frame-rate). Obviously I know how to adjust settings manually, but 20 fps isn’t an option in project settings (working with v18.5). The closest is 18 fps or 16 fps, with no option for custom frame-rates in master settings.

I can set custom frame-rates for PLAYBACK speed, but not native timeline speed, as far as I can tell. The problem is that when I eventually get to export, my understanding is this means I won’t be able to select 20 fps as an export option either. That will obviously will change the runtime of the final project by a SUBSTANTIAL difference, which is why it’s less than ideal.

Is there any options I can try to fix this issue that I haven’t listed above or toyed around with?
