Is there a way to have korean words read back to you like text-a-speech? When I'm reading a novel or a webtoon on my phone, and I want a sentence read out to me, I type it in a translation app. Then have it read to me that way. But know I'm finding it bothersome. I rather highlight a sentence and press "speak", than switch between apps all the time.

●여러분, 안녕하세요~ 잘 지냈어요? 요즘 저는 너무 피곤하고 있어요. 이틀동안 계속해서 낮잠을 잤어요. 눈감기를 막는게 어렵고 있어요.

●오늘은 제 방운 청소해야 해요. 그래서 깨우게 커피를 먹고 약을 먹었어요. 근데 내 몸이 좀 이상했어요. 그때는 잠시 쉬기로 했어요. 침대에서 눈을 감아서 누워 핸드폰으로 머리 옆에 영상을 흘러나왔어요. 잠자지 않을 걸 줄 알았어요.

●몇 시간이 지나지 모르는데 갑자기 일어나다가 우리 엄마는 내 앞에 서 있었어요. 그리고 화를 했고요. '깜짝 무섭게 얼마나 엄마가 그기에 서 있지? 잠깐, 어떻게 잠을 들었지?' 빠르게 침대에서 일어나다가 엄마에게 사과를 했어요. "엄마, 죄송합니다! 어떻게 무슨 일이 있었지 모르겠어!" 몇 분 시간이갈수록 제 오른쪽 다리는 아픈 걸 알았어요. 사람이 제 다리를 맞아는 듯이는데요. "누가 내 다리를 맞았냐?" "나" 엄마 말했어요.

●'너무 깊이 잠들어 있어서 내 다리를 맞았도 알지 않네? 어떻게?' 그 후에는 피곤하는 거 덜 느꼈어요. 청소하기 시작하게 준비했어요. 근데 내 가슴 속에 떨리기 시작했어요. 귀로 시끄럽게 두근두근거리는 심장을 들어서 불안했어요! 모르지만 커피를 많이 마섰겠어요. 지금은 거짓말처럼 기분이 풀었어요. 진짜 이상하네요....

Realized I've been a avoiding this for a while. Enough of that! Could someone explain ( _며) & (하면서) to me?

지금 비가 내리고 있어요. 오늘 밤 비가 오지 몰랐어요. 저는 날씨 뉴스를 거의 보지 않아서 내 잘못이에요.

저는 늦게까지 일을 했고, 몸이 아프게 지끈거리고, 지금 오후 2 시 51 분에 잠자기 힘들고 있어요. 어쩌면 문을 닫으면 잠을 내릴 수 있어요. (그리고 내 핸드폰을 쓰기도 멈치면 되겠네요.) 저도 슬퍼요. 잠자기 전까지 내 좋아하는 게임을 하고 싶었으니까요. 하지만 대신 폰 화면을 빤히 쳐다보았어요.

I randomly remembered a manhwa from long ago. It was romantasy with the typical FL has healing powers and is the only one who can help with the ML curse. However it came with a draw back. Each time the FL used her power, she would turn into a corpse for a night or days. Like straight ice cold, stiff, no breathing.

She spins a lie to the ML that she simply goes into a deep slumber and cannot be disturbed. And (if I remember correctly) has her maid prevent anyone from entering.(I think the maid knows)

But thats the only thing I remember, nothing else. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

어제 점심에는 출근을 하다가 내 이어버드를 집에 두고 올 것 같아서 좀 슬펐어요. 근데 알고 보니 이어버드가 깊이 가방 안에 있어서 다행했어요. 저는 희사에 이어보드가 없으면 귀찮아요. 음악을 듣면서 일을 하는 게 재미있게 시간이 지날 수 있어요. 근데 솔직히 희사에서 음악을 듣기는 허용되지 않아요...... so let's keep it a secret ♡

With the context I was given "Look at controls and settings?" Or maybe "control and usage"?

(-더니) is it a particle? And if so, what does it do?

채 몸을 ( I only understood "body")

천장 쪽으로 치켜세운 ("raised toward the ceiling")

빨간 눈의 여자와 ("the red eyes of a woman and")

눈이 마주쳤다 ("eye clashed")

My best guess: "Soon after, my arms and legs pressed against the floor; as my eyes rosed to meet those of a red-eyed lady; from above she float."

Other learners can relate, right? Stuttering as you try to say a phase? Happens to me constantly 🙃 It's as if my mind is never in sync with my mouth.

Well, today I said 커피를 많이 마시지 마~!!!! With so much conviction that I basically scared myself! I don't think I sounded native. However, my voice was so steady! I even did that iconic 마~!!!! tone.

I genuinely believe, at that point in time, I was possessed by a korean mother...... Proof? The very next sentence- my mouth went back to making pretzels! 😅

For some reason I keep autocorrecting 프라이팬. 😅 Literally a moment ago I saw a sentence "친구가 프라이팬으로 요리를 했어요."

Here I go: "Why would my friend cook in a playpen? ......Oh." 🤦‍♀️

So I just learned 그러면. Apparently, it can mean "and then". I've seen examples, but I'm still stumped. You see, I know 이러면. Which I understood as "like this". For example: "이러면 안 맞잖아" So I thought it was similar for 그러면 "like that". Right? And until now, that's how I had it in my head.

So, if I where to translate this lyric: "Hold me, console me, and then I'll leave without a trace." ~ 날 안아줘, 위로해줘, ______ 흔적도 없이 떠날 거야~

Which would I use: '그뒤에/그후에/그다음에/그러면' and could you explain why?
