Tiring corporate life

I am a girl in my early 20s. Not more than a decade ego, having a job was more like going against society, having freedom etc. I am not saying that it is not so now. I am grateful for the fact that I have this privilege to study and earn, which many Indian girls don't have.

Having said that, the idea in this economy, one cannot survive without husband and wife both working give me chills. I also want to live that slow paced life, getting ready, staying at relatives, cooking. Please do not take it otherwise that I want to be trad wife or something like that. But also wanted to live a life that may be I will never get to live.

Feeling behind

Ok so I had to vent this out. I am in top 7 rank nlu. My AIR was in 800s. I did my schooling from a pretty small town in UP (you can even call it a village). In my school even teachers couldn't talk in English, let alone students. Now when I came to a law school, I feel like a miss fit. Everyone naturally talks in english, everyone is polished, so corporate. I am jealous my schoolmates who are now studying in medical or engineering college. Their crowd is much familiar. In my internships, I get so nervous, I almost shrivel with anxiety. It feels like I am the odd one out. Its not like I am completely unaware of how to act corporate, but its simply like my co interns do it unintentionally, because of their background. You cannot deny the type of confidence a good school gives you. Confidence is IN them. They do not need any validation to feel it. They dont put anyone on a pedestal, because they are used to such kind of people. I am not used to them. I feel intimidated. Law is field for bunch of english speaking elitist. In other bachelors, college students are allowed to act like college students. But in law, you are in like your 3rd year and you have to act like a lawyer. Work is not enough, you have to build a rapport with the associates just to get a call back. And guess who will build that rapport- simply, the smooth talkers. So, yes, that's how unfair the world is..

Awareness Post (save yourself kids)

Hello, so I was working on a freelancing project. I am an nlu student, this was one of my ways to get some extra income for my pocket money. I came contact with a guy his name is Ruman Shukoor, he runs a sort of org called Research Scholars. He (and his team) act as an intermediary, they take orders from the client and they give them to us writers.

He charge as high as 15k-16k for works like dissertations give the writers pennies (as low as 300 rs). If anyone has any doubt, I can give you all the proof you want. Also, for the pennies we get, we make 100 prcnt AI projects. So please beware guys, save your precious money.

Law firms being insane

Guys I am interning at a tier 1 law firm. I am in my 4th year and its my day 2 and god its so tiring!!!!!! They are expecting us to pick up calls till 9pm. Like why bruh? Why should I pick up your call at fucking 9? Also they are giving us like 5k- 6k (that too subject to approval). They have not increased stipends for like a decade now. Law firms are the biggest piece of hell. Plus you can't really do anything. These all are lawyers with insane connections. If any case ever happen to go court, the ju**** will some insane shit like "you are there for experience, not to earn". India will make you go suicidal any fine day.
