RTX 5070 Ti (OC/UV/Voltage control)

As someone who have been using a 5070 Ti SFF card over a year now who played and finished around 50+ games with stock, undervolting and overclocking. I have found these three profiles to be completely stable for my silicon.

• 2900 MHz @890mV -> 2887 MHz effective

• 3050 MHz @950mV -> 2970-3030 MHz effective

• 3200 MHz @995mV -> 3120-3195 MHz effective

So far the increment in performance over each profiles is around 2-5% at best, while compared to stock I get around +7-15 fps based on games

But honestly I hate the idea of keep switching profiles for the types of games so I always ended up using the first profile i.e 2900 MHz @890mV

But recently as i played and finished two games :

> The last of us part 2

> A Plague Tale : Requiem

I found this very profile to be very unstable which led to random crash and for which I now have switched to this method of overclock + undervolting i.e

• + 350-375 on Core

• + 2000 on memory

• 83% PL (Max 255W)

Why this ?

- This keeps temps max upto 65°c even at 4K games

- Clockspeed seems slightly on the higher side now (2910-3150Mhz) even on same load

- It fixes stuttering issues

I use Inno3D X3 OC 5070 Ti SFF (100% PL capped) and even though I have no aircon, play in hot ambient my temps management is pretty good i feel as my card never once touched 70°c, as even on stock + oc it stays like 60-68°c.

So what's the best way to undervolt ? Am I missing something here ?

Also i recently tried to do +420 on core which gave me 3225 MHz avg on games while keeping power draw within 290-300W , but later after sometime it crashed, so do you guys think using Mvolt + can fix this issue ?

So, please give your suggestions, pretty sure there are many who have experimented a lot with their cards

A PLague Tale : Requiem (Crash issue fix for 2nd chapter)

https://preview.redd.it/rvih7734uhjh1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ce9d8f26292668d69f8bf148c5b3b29d386054f

So i recently downloaded A Plague tale : Requiem from Ankers v1.60 and then after completing the first chapter the game just crash, no matter what graphic settings you do it will crash. So after downloading and trying multiple versions it seems that version 1.0.0.0 have no issues at all.

My system :

  • RTX 5070 Ti
  • Gameready driver 610.88
  • 9800X3D (+200, -30)
  • 16GB x 2 CL 30 6000 MHz
  • Nvme SSD Gen 4 (1+2TB) Windows 11 Pro Build 26200

Gears of War : E Day performance test (RTX 5070Ti OC + Undervolting)

After trying for a while, I finally found the sweet spot for running 3000+ MHz while undervolting in Gears of War: E-Day.

What’s concerning, though, is the RAM usage it never dropped below 21 GB during gameplay. 😳

GPU: Inno3D X3 OC RTX 5070 Ti SFF
Core Clock: 3220 MHz
Voltage: 1020 mV
Memory clock : 3000
RAM Usage: 21 GB+

5070 Ti: Has Anyone Flashed a Higher-PL VBIOS on a 300W Card?

Any 5070 Ti owners here running a 300W power-limited card who have flashed a VBIOS with a 100%+ power limit?

For those who have tried it:

  • Does the higher-PL VBIOS actually provide meaningful headroom for aggressive overclocking and undervolting?
  • If the card ever gets bricked and the original stock VBIOS is flashed back, is there any way the GPU vendor can tell that a modified VBIOS was previously used?
  • How stable has the setup been for 24/7 daily use and extended gaming sessions?
  • Have you experienced any crashes, driver issues, instability, or other problems after flashing?

Would appreciate feedback from anyone who has actually been running this setup long-term.

Gears of War : E day

With the recently revealed system requirements for Gears of War: E-Day, it looks like hardware ray tracing may soon become a standard requirement for many upcoming AAA games rather than just an optional visual feature.

That got me wondering about AMD's future. Radeon GPUs have traditionally focused on delivering stronger rasterization performance per dollar, but they've consistently lagged behind Nvidia in ray tracing performance.

As more games begin relying on ray tracing for lighting, shadows, and even core rendering features, what does the future look like for AMD graphics cards over the next few years?

Do you think AMD will eventually reach Nvidia's level of ray tracing performance while maintaining its competitive pricing? Or will Nvidia continue to command a premium ("Nvidia tax") for those who want the best ray tracing experience?

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts, especially from people who have switched between Radeon and GeForce cards or have been following GPU architecture closely.

Halo Infinite vs Halo Evolved campaign

So this is how bad the latest Halo Evolved performs. I have to use DLSS Quality just to get decent performance, and the game still looks noticeably noisy. Meanwhile, Halo Infinite runs at native 4K and still delivers around 150 FPS.

First it was insane GPU prices, and now it's games shipping with poor optimization. We're truly living in the "best" era of PC gaming.
