Have they fixed the Minebuster?

Was planning to go tomorrow (wanted to try the Daredeviler, hopefully without getting a concussion)

Thought about trying some of the wooden coasters too but I wanted to know if they’re smooth now

Also how bad do you think the lines will be tomorrow?

How I think the franchise could have played out

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and wanted to share it to see if anyone else thinks it would work.

(Disclosure NO AI was used in this, with the exception of fixing my shitty grammar)

Instead of the endless loop where Skynet constantly tries to kill John and Sarah Connor which eventually stops making sense and feels like a pointlessly going in circles, they should have used multiple timelines.

Timeline 1 (The Original): Humans create Skynet in 2020 without any future technology to speed up the process. Humans lose the war, but before their final stronghold falls, The Resistance sends Kyle Reese back to 1985 with a mission to destroy Cyberdyne and Skynet sends a terminator after him.

Timeline 2: Kyle arrives in 1985 and seduces Sarah Connor, who works a low-level job at Cyberdyne (she was a waitress a year earlier while in college,
now she’s an intern), to steal her facility access card.

Before he can bomb the building, Sarah confronts him. While they are arguing, the Terminator attacks, they narrowly escape, deal with the terminator chasing after them for a while, Kyle fully explains the situation to Sarah, and they manage to destroy the terminator but Kyle doesn’t survive

Cyberdyne recovers the wreckage, using the advanced technology to speed up development.

This causes Judgment Day to happen earlier, in 1997. However, Sarah raises John to lead the humans to victory in 2029, prompting Skynet to send a Terminator back to 1984

Timeline 3: The events of T1 occur ending with Sarah impregnated and raising John to defeat Skynet once against so Skynet sends the T-1000 back to 1995 to kill John and John sends the T-800 as a protector

Timeline 4: The events T2 occur ending with Cyberdyne destroyed and Judgment Day averted.

John grows up to become a U.S. Senator and passes legislation to ensure Skynet is never created.

Essentially every timeline basically “records over” the previous one

This way they could have made plenty of TV shows, Movies, books etc but the franchise would still have an actual start and end

What do u guys think? Would this have worked?

Finally completed Elementary

Background I had gotten about halfway through the show when it first aired

Then fell off it for some reason and it had been on my “to watch” list of years

A couple months ago I decided it was high time I finally watched the show from start to finish once and for all

Got in the habit of watching 1-2 episodes every day quickly became one of my favourite shows again

And today I completed the run

Man what a ride, from acting, humour, characters, plots

Truly an incredible show

Not sure what to do now……. Granted I never read the books

Over a barrel episode mixed feelings

Late to the party I know (Elementary was one of this shows that was always on my list but I never got it)

Currently doing a full watch through

But wanted to know if anyone had any mixed feelings towards this ep

a guy who tried to get Holmes to help him with a case for 5 years, gets ignored and then finally holds up a diner to force him to help

The excuse given was that Holmes and Watson never had time buuut that’s kinda BS they don’t work cases 24/7 and sometimes they go a week or so without having work

Kinda disappointed in them for ignoring that guy even when they had some spare time

Good episode, really cool flashbacks, but I think it did a little damage to the characters likability to me

Anyone else have that feeling?

Looking for a place to buy clip on glasses?

Got a new pair of glasses recently and was hoping to find a place where they could take a measurement of my frames and give me new clip ons

Any suggestions?

Did they change Haymitch’s games in the movie?

Okay full disclosure I haven’t read any of the books just saw the movies and read some wikis

so I’m no expert and this very easily could be a stupid question or one of those questions that gets asked on a sub repeatedly and drives regulars crazy (in which case my bad)

one thing that’s kinda confused me about Haymitchs games was the cornucopia bloodbath

I thought what originally what happened was the arena was so visually stunning that while the other tributes were taking it all in Haymitch got to the cornucopia first and bolted with supplies before anyone stepped off their pedestal

In the trailer this clearly isn’t the case

and I was wondering if this was an inconsistency in the SOTR book or if they just changed it in the movie

Bolse tips

If anyone is having trouble in Bolse these strategies worked for me when it came to 190 hits and avoiding the core lasers figured I’d share them (most of them I read here or on YouTube)

190 hits

When the level starts intentionally crash the Arwing into the laser dome 3 times to get Rob to send a supply drop (but don’t shoot it)

Then start shooting the two turrets next to each of the 6 pillars this will give you rings to heal, once your health is yellow go for the supply drop from Rob to get a laser upgrade

Then shoot the rest of the turrets to fully heal get at least 2 gold rings and another laser upgrade

Then take out the pillars

Then take down star wolf

Then destroy all but 1 of the lights on the core

Then take out the remaining enemies

Then destroy the core

Avoid the core lasers

Use first person view and spam barely rolls (strongly suggest turn off camera rotation)

Fire a bomb at the core (aim higher up) to take out as many weak points as possible

Then go back to the outer circle spamming barrel rolls

Repeat the process with 2nd bomb to take out more weak points then go back to the outer circle

Repeat the process with 3rd bomb

Then repeat with charge shots

Every time the second you hit something go back to the outer circle

When it’s down to one or two weak spots take them out the normal way

What’s your pettiest criticism?

I’m talking stuff that doesn’t hurt the game (it’s phenomenal) but u still wish it did different

My case I wish the Aquas submarine launch wasn’t changed, felt it was much cooler seeing the great fox float on the surface and then launch the sub

Vs dropping it from the air

3DS launch

Lego Batman Legacy of the dark knight - interact not working

The lift option isn’t working, even when I bind it to another button on the pro controller

Anyone else run into this issue?

Are there any good guides on why the algorithms work?

I know the beginner method and can solve a cube in under 2 minutes

At this point I literally do it to relax (beats doomscrolling)

But one thing that’s kinda bothered me is that while I know the algorithms I don’t know WHY they work

I’ve tried to track the pieces movement while applying the algorithms but it’s too complicated

Are there any guides that really highlight why the algorithms work not just what to do in order to magically solve a cube?
