got diagnosed yesterday 🎉

I think it’s finally hitting me that I got diagnosed yesterday and my new nurse practitioner and her assistant were really supportive. I cried a bit and they still took the time to sit through everything with me and made sure I understood. I feel so seen and heard!! I’m really excited for my future and taking control!❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Hi. Not necessarily a rant buuuut. I have an appointment in June to (hopefully) finally get this hell over with of being unmedicated with pmdd. I am not diagnosed yet but I’m 95% positive it’s what I have and have done extensive research and I’m currently tracking my symptoms. I really want to be as transparent as possible with my doctor but I’m horrified they’ll send me to a ward if I admit everything, especially the increased rage I get towards myself and others. I’ve never snapped at anyone out in public but holy shit I’ve been close to swinging and harming others. I get really impulsive during luteal and it’s killing me. Please let me know if you have any advice on how to prepare / what to tell my gynecologist.
