Question about cancellation fee
Booked a hotel 2 weeks ago and paid in full.
After 2 days, I found a better hotel and canceled the first one. I only received $38 as a refund.
I was not informed about the “cancellation cost” upfront. Is there any way to get the full amount back?
Since it was through a 3rd party, should I contact the hotel, Booking.com, or my bank?
It’s my first time using this app, so I may have made a mistake by paying in full for a trip that’s still 3 months away.
