This is actually me meeting Amy back in 2004. I was 14 and dealing with some pretty powerful angst so MS Painted my face out, yikes! I felt so embarassed about my face, now I just want to scoop little me up and tell her she's beautiful exactly how she is! Wish I still had the original. Anyone? I think I may have uploaded it to Evboard or something back then. I've dmed some fan accounts a little while back but nothing as of yet.
It's a really cute photo either way, I remember giving Amy my fave bunny ears and the toy from my happy meal, ha! She loved it and felt like a caring big sister, proper pulled me in for a cuddle. Cry. Very healing for this little one..

What an honour to be the first stop of the European leg of the World Tour.
Northern hospitality is a thing, so I really hope the crowds are LOUD AND LIVELY!! I don't have a ticket but there's a decent big forecourt at front of the venue. The analogy given is that monotheism is a decent way of ensuring control over the masses, and in this episode it becomes clear that the UI technology is going to go majorly mainstream. Billions of UIs, with a need for one Higher Power.
The scene is amazing, rewatch it. The way Holstroms no2 (forgot his name) repeats "I said YOU get to choose who" and then it cuts to a scene with Maddie, explaining David Kim just died (who would have been Caspians one choice). Then the final scene of the episode is literally her stood there as people flock toward her, her house the only one with the Light emanating out the dark.
Explains how she became "God Maddie" i.e. Maddie as the only UI with True Integrity.

Anyways, I was just uploading another pretty shoddy Scorpia AMV to YT and it was blocked. Not because of the song, surprisingly, but because of the She-Ra content, and the claimant is NBC Universal.
What's that all about then?
All the disclaimers are on the video, and it's chopped up, slowed down, edited etc so no long unedited scenes. Also NBC Universal? Are they acquiring She-Ra?!

Okay, it doesn't exist yet but hear me out. Amy talked about it in The Guardian recently too - we have to be active in standing against fascism. Anyone with a heart is horrified at the violence of end stage capitalism and colonialism rn.
Bands like Metallica have started initiatives (see below*) to help communities thrive.
Would you follow a non-profit EV project like that?
It would extend beyond tours, as connective tissue between the music and irl sanctuaries. With a decade of kick starting enduring community projects and a bunch of lived experience too, I would love to kickstart/be part of something like this! ^_^ I think a project called "Wide Open Heart" would be a beautiful bridge from Amy's heart directly into real world, heart-led community healing.

Just wanted to come and send a quick little message of hope.
I have stage 4 endometriosis since age 14 and had two laps since. my right ovary, abdomen, bowel and cervix, etcetc adhering it all to each other - it was a mess!
I am now mid thirties and symptoms are lifting. It's largely due to the fact that I am in premature peri-menopause, since age 32! I have come to acceptance on that, mostly because the upside for me is that endo has piped alllll the way down. Less estrogen feeding it's growth. To be without pain for so much time is like a miracle.
SO - I know it will be up and down still but I wanted to send a message to my younger self (and possibly future self): I know sometimes the pain is so great, you feel trapped in your body, so scared that it might stay or get worse. I know you feel alone a lot of the time, knowing others don't understand how it feels, and sometimes it's easier to hide from the world...and I know ultimately you just want help, but you have had to be a warrior so it's sometimes hard to ask (especially after being ignored and disbelieved by doctor after doctor). BUT...you are not alone, and from the future I can tell you, things do change, get better even. So don't lose hope. And btw you are a million times stronger on the other side of it, strong enough to trust yourself, your voice and even others. Be gentle with yourself. Much love. <3

I just noticed the bar she lands in is sort of giving Going Under vibes too, even the people are smiling in that creepy ass way. Bruh, I'm totalled.
