I met Robin Hobb and her attitude made me never want to read her books

A few years ago she was at a convention I was at. I went to several panels she was on and the whole time she just had this air that she was better than everyone else. She would make faces whenever anyone asked a question. She'd roll her eyes at the fellow authors on the panel and contradict them. She spoke in a condescending tone. Afterwards at the signing I saw someone approach her and she was so snarky with them. I've always been interested in her work since I hear so many great things about it but whenever I see her name all I can picture is her derisive little frown and that condescending scoff she'd make. Maybe it was an off day?

Does anyone have any good experiences with her? Should I try and push past and read her books anyways?

The hardest part of reading the books for me

Is that every time Carl kills somebody I hear that stupid llama with hats going "Carl that kills people." And whenever they say his name I hear that drawn out "Carl." I haven't even seen those videos in years but they returned to haunt me during my reading.

I did not like the anthropomorphizing of Eywa in Fire and Ash

Rewatching and I can't get over how much I really dislike like how they anthropomorphized (navipomorphized) Eywa in the most recent film. I really like it better when she was just a force in the world, like gravity or their magnetic forces. I liked that she was more of just a collective conscious of all the biological material and I didn't like her becoming an anthropomorphic monotheistic character. What did y'all think?

Anyway to change which of the big circles shows up for quick access?

I just recently updated to iOS 18 and now the command center looks different. Can I change which of these big circles there are? I almost never use airdrop but I do toggle my Bluetooth on and off often so I'd like that to be the bigger easier to reach circle instead of having to do additional steps for it.
