I have no idea what these are, but I'm so curious. They're present on my chopstick snail and on my malaysian trumpet snails. What are they? What are they for? Are they sensory? Something else?
Just some interesting little guys I noticed while trying to figure out where my ramshorns keep hiding, the longer one is about 3 mm.
They're concentrated on the glass of my relatively new aquarium, I think introduced by some wetland grass. Are these nematodes or detritus worms, or something else? Are they harmless? Sorry for the view, best pics I could get were through a loupe. Thanks!
