Switch 2 battery life?

I never noticed the battery life on my switch 1. Which I think means it always lasted basically as long as I wanted to play. I got my switch 2 yesterday and played. I charged it up to 65% and played pokopia. After a little I got a battery notice. I charged it up to 85%. Around 8pm I decided to play pokopia again until about 10/1030 where it actually died on me.

Is anyone else noticing this battery life or is mine just maybe defect?

In 2020 I quit my research job in Philadelphia and moved into a technical consulting scientist role in Chicago. Chicago is home. I broke up with a boyfriend and moved home to be around family and settle down.

Six years later, there has been no change to my life.

I have been putting in promotion requests for the last two years and so far nothing has panned out. We did have massive layoffs last year and I’m lucky to have my job but I still feel like I’m working hard harder than I’m being compensated for.

- I currently am a level two scientist in Chicago

- making $105k / year.

- I’m work from home

- my day-to-day responsibilities are pretty small.

- I do travel frequently from the Midwest to the East Coast. Maybe about twice a month or more. (75%)

- At a loss for what my growth plan is in my current role

I’m being offered another job at my company:

- level three scientific sales

- base salary $130K / year with a quarterly bonus incentive that if I hit my metrics is around $250k total. Manager said everybody on his team hit the incentive for quarter one.

- also work from home and will be relatively close to an office so there may be opportunity to network in the company more frequently

- unsure of current day-to-day responsibilities however it is sales so I’m figuring there is going to be more work than what I’m doing now

- travel is around 25% for the New England area and Montreal

- there is better growth potential with this job

I’m very torn on what to do. On one hand I’m excited about this job and if it was in Chicago, I would take it in a heartbeat. However, since it is in Boston, I need to be a little bit more considerate. On the other hand, I just moved back from the East Coast six years ago and I feel like I gave up my life there to come home so going back is feeling a little weird for me.

I own my own house currently and would be willing to sell it. However, I do own three dogs and a horse so to move everyone is a big deal. Just called off an engagement about a month ago so there’s definitely mixed feelings surrounding that as well.

I’ve never done sales before however I do think that I would be pretty decent at it. The manager and I have clicked in working together the last few years so I know the working relationship would be good. But I’m scared with the chance that I could be bad at it or not enjoy it and have no out and moved away from home. I also have a support system here that helps me with the dogs when I travel for work that I won’t have in Boston. But that is something I could build overtime.
