Never knew Silksong had an rtx mode!
I'm surprised they actually did this! Can you guys believe it? They gave the game a literal rtx mode! I wonder how it could get any better from here...

A tier list on Hollow Knight bosses if they would be able to do 2 masks of damage if they were in Silksong! A couple of notes below:
- Hornet was not ranked, but if she was, she'd be in some attacks.
- God tamer is a unique case, because the big guy would likely deal double damage (with contact), while the ant would stick with one damage.
- Soul warrior would deal x2 contact damage, but have some attacks that deal 2 and 1 damage. I just decided to stick him in "some attacks".
- I should've put THK and Pure Vessel in 3 masks.
- Zote would still probably do no damage.
Hello, guys. Nobody ever talks about dash attacks, so today I am ranking all the dash attacks from the crests from worst to best, and scoring them based on their usability, range, and fun.
7th place: Shaman Crest's. Before I explain, can anybody tell me what the point of this dash attack is? It does anything but have Hornet dash forward. In fact, it has Hornet slowly jump backward and throw a weird spinny-circle thing. Also leaves a massive blind spot diagonally above hornet. Easily the worst of them all. 3/10.
6th place: Architect Crest's. Recycling the "charge up the attack to make it actually worth it" gimmick from the pogo, are we? Well, this dash attack can live in the depths of 4.5/10 for that reason and because it is literally the hunter's dash attack if it was chargeable. At least it isn't as bad as the pogo, and it is actually usable.
5th place: Beast Crest's. A decent dash attack. Just don't really like the little hop she does before she uses it to delay the attack a little bit. Other than that, it is fine. 6/10.
4th place: Wanderer Crest's. Like the idea of immediately dashing right back to land another hit, I just wish the range was bigger. That's it. 6.5/10.
Edit: maybe I'll start using Longclaw.
3rd place: Hunter Crest's. Ah, the OG. The perfect, genuine form of what the architect crest tried to accomplish. After hitting, even if the enemy blocks, you fly into the air, and can combo your opponent with a pogo attack. Overall an excellent dash attack. 8/10.
2nd place: Witch Crest's. Did someone say "long range"? Because I love long range. Did somebody else say "hits three times"? Because if it did do both of these things, then you'd get some great damage, range, and silk off your enemy each time you use this. Anyway, this dash attack is amazing. Just don't use it against Lost Lace. I found out the hard way. 9/10.
1st place: Reaper Crest's: Remember earlier when I said that I liked long range? Well, here is another attack with some long range. And this attack might be the safest attack in the game. For starters, the uppercut Hornet does automatically nullifies any enemy's attack. And second, it sets you up to do a lot of things afterward. For example, dash away again, or, combo with a pogo. You could even heal with how far it sends you! Conclusion, Reaper's dash attack is the best in the game.
A tier list if I feel like I could beat them in a real-life fight, if I was the size of maybe Hornet. I didn't feel like ranking the dream-ghost warriors, as they are already dead and they only repeat one attack. I did include the dream bosses rematches, though.
Been playing both of these a lot recently. For those of you who have played both, do you think that they would succeed in each other's universes? I feel like Hornet and Sargon would both probably be able to survive.
Simply wondering which areas have the most lore about them, and which do not. For example, Sands of Karak has an extreme amount of lore to it with Khan and everything, while Wormways has little to no lore about it.
Remember when I asked everybody what their favorite Citadel music was? Well, now I gotta know what everybody's favorites overall are.
My top five go something like this:
1: Cogwork Core, genuine peak gaming music.
2: Choral Chambers, Also genuine peak gaming music.
3: Mount Fay, perfectly fits the area and it is really relaxing.
4: Bilewater, gives the vibe of "this used to be better", and it is a beautiful soundtrack.
5: Lost Verdania: Giving Greenpath vibes, and I love that song so much. Easily gets in top 5.
Honorable mention: The Mist, perfect music to play in this area. It fits the vibe of getting lost very easily in here, and it sounds amazing.
You know the Citadel areas. We love them all. I noticed on my first playthrough that most of the OSTs here are amazing! I want to hear everybody's opinions on some of the best soundtracks of the whole game, and which ones are your favorites! I also gave my ranking down below:
Maybe I'll even see a Cog Core vs Choral Chambers bloodbath
Here's my ranking!
7: Grand Gate, no OST.
6: Whiteward, it's more of a fitting ambience.
5: Memorium, it's kind of in a state of being good, but just not comparing to the big ones.
4: Vaults, The first of the big four. Love it very much, but it is also kind of in a similar state as the Memorium.
3: High Halls, Another big four member, its relaxing OST just makes me happy. No other way to put it.
2: Choral Chambers, before I face slander for not putting it at #1, lemme just say that this OST is incredible. I love the keys and choruses, this OST is a masterpiece. I had a pretty hard time putting it at two, but this still made it pretty far up.
1: Cog Core, also my favorite soundtrack in the game, is a musical masterpiece. The ticking clock and machinery in the background fit the area perfectly. 10/10 go listen to it right now it is perfect
I lowkey really want Santa Claus vs Willy Wonka.
