A detour in the Capital of Vijayanagara Empire- Hampi

These photos were taken by me in March, which was a tour of this magnificent place that me wonder that I have time traveled back to 1400s as a History Nerd I have visited many monuments, but this visit was memorable as it seemed whole city was preserved with its Courtyards, Palaces, Temples, Empire Offices, Recreational Areas and much more. It felt to me a pretty underrated place for North Indian Tourists as I encountered mainly South Indian Tourists and Foreign Tourists. The visit also brings you closer to the Vijayanagara Scheme of Urban Design.
PS- There were so many photos it was pretty hard to choose these 20

A visit to Central Indian Temple and its Architecture

Built by the Paramara King Udayaditya in the Bhumija architectural style, the mighty and beautiful Udeshwar Neelkantheshwar Temple in Udaypur, Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh is surrounded by fascinating folklore and legends. Stories about its construction in a single day, the encounter between King Udayaditya and a mystical serpent, and the tale of the Dhwajadhari add to its mystique.
He was the son of the great king Bhoja (1010-1050 AD). In central India, it is difficult to see precisely dated temples. But the Udayeshwar temple is one of the few, which has a precise date. Two inscriptions engraved on the temple record the construction of temple during Paramara king Udayaditya between 1059 to 1080.
Describing such a monumental piece of history in brief is impossible, and I highly recommend referring to books, research papers, or reliable sources for a deeper understanding.
