How do you accept that someone can stop feeling anything for you despite everything you shared with them?

I’m 20F, and I’m curious how other women would perceive this.

I was in a relationship that felt extremely intimate and genuine. For a long time, our life was basically just us. We ate together, slept together, lived together, shared everything, and I genuinely felt like our lives had become one.

We both made mistakes. He hid things from me that I eventually found out, and I also did something that hurt him. I never cheated or crossed that line, but I knew what I had done affected him deeply.
What I struggle to understand is that he apparently lost his feelings for me because of that one thing, and no matter what happened afterwards, he couldn’t seem to get past it.

I left everything behind and moved to his city. I lived with him and his parents. I ate with him, slept beside him, lived the same daily life with him, and tried to show him through my actions how genuinely sorry I was and how much I wanted to make things right.
But none of it seemed to bring those feelings back.
And I find that incredibly difficult to understand not because I think someone owes you forgiveness or love because you tried hard enough, but because I personally cannot imagine sharing that kind of life with someone and then being able to feel absolutely nothing for them.

Especially because there was also a situation where he essentially chose something else over me, which hurt me deeply. Yet somehow I was still willing to move past that and try to rebuild things.
Now I’m left wondering whether people really can reach a point where they simply cannot feel anything anymore, even while the person is right there beside them, sharing their bed, eating with them, living under the same roof and trying desperately to repair what was broken.

How do you accept that? And does anyone else find it strange how two people can experience the exact same life together and then one person can emotionally detach from it while the other is still completely inside it?
**TL;DR:**Have you ever struggled to understand how someone could share such an intimate life with you and still be unable to regain any feelings after something went wrong, even when you genuinely tried everything to make amends?

Is there a gap for affordable, protein-focused meal prep in Bhopal?

I’ve been trying to fix my own eating habits lately, and it got me thinking about starting something small around healthy, affordable food in Bhopal.
Think oats bowls, fruit/yogurt bowls, egg sandwiches, paneer/chicken sandwiches, etc. simple, filling options that you could grab before/after the gym without spending ₹200–300.
I’m curious would you actually buy something like this?
What would you want on the menu, and what price would feel reasonable to you?
I’m only trying to understand whether there’s actually a demand before I experiment with it.

To the cute kiddo who complimented me at the exhibition yesterday, this is for you.

You probably have absolutely no idea that you made someone’s day yesterday, but you genuinely did.
I was at an exhibition with my cousin because she had a stall there. Honestly, I wasn’t having the best day. I had some work I couldn’t finish, I was exhausted, my skin was oily, I wasn’t feeling great about my outfit, and most importantly…
my hair was GREASY.
And if you know me, you know a bad hair day = a bad day. 😭
So I was already feeling pretty crappy about how I looked when my cousin and I went to the food area. We ordered something from a stall, and there were three young people there before us two girls and a guy.
While we were waiting for our order, the guy came up to us and casually said something along the lines of:
“You both are looking really nice. Out of everyone here, you’re the two who look the most presentable.”.
That’s it.
It probably took him 10 seconds to say it, but it genuinely stayed with me for the rest of the day.
I was so insecure about how I looked that day, and I really wasn’t feeling my best. So hearing that from a complete stranger, with absolutely no expectation of anything in return, genuinely made me feel so much better.
I didn’t really know how to express how much it meant to me in that moment, so I’m doing it here instead.
To that cute little guy at the exhibition if by some insane coincidence this ever reaches you, thank you. 🥹
You probably don’t remember saying it.
I definitely won’t forget hearing it.
And if you never see this, that’s okay too.
This one’s just for you. ❤️

Urgently looking for a flat in Bhopal 🏠

Hi everyone! I’m a female looking for a place to rent in New Bhopal anywhere in New Bhopal works.
My preferences:
2 BHK: I’m okay with a pre-occupied flat / joining someone, with my share around ₹5–6k/month
1 RK: Around ₹5k/month
Furnished 1 RK/1 BHK: Around ₹6–7k/month
Completely unfurnished 1 BHK: Around ₹6–7k/month
I’m flexible with the exact locality as long as it’s in New Bhopal and the place is decent/safe.
Urgently looking to shift, so if you know of any available flat, vacancy, or owner directly renting out a place, please DM me with the details.
Please, no brokers/brokerage. Only genuine owner/tenant leads please. 🙏

A very quick and unexpectedly wholesome story about friendship 🥹🌷

I’ve known this guy for around 3-ish years. We initially met through some official/work-related stuff and eventually found out that we lived pretty close to each other. Somehow that turned into us becoming besties.
We’ve seen each other through some pretty rough phases, so we’ve genuinely been there for each other through thick and thin.
It was his birthday recently, but he didn’t want to celebrate it at all. I was in my hometown, which isn’t too far from the city, so I thought, fuck it, I’m going to go see him and make his birthday a little special. As his designated homegirl, it was basically my duty. 😭
He picked me up from the station and, first of all, opened the car door for me.
I was like ???
“Bro, who are you and what have you done with my friend? Why are you suddenly acting like a gentleman?” 😭
He took me to one of his favourite places, we had food, and I got him a cake from the restaurant. It was just the two of us, so we cut the cake and chilled.
At some point he told me he’d been searching everywhere for lilies.
I asked why, and he goes, “Because every girl likes lilies, so I was looking for them for you.”
I was like, “Sir, lilies and I would be the LEAST compatible combination.” 😭
He guessed I liked roses, but I told him I don’t like red roses.
Fast forward a little later…
We’re driving somewhere and this man suddenly takes a ridiculously dramatic U-turn and stops in front of a roadside flower shop.
I already knew what was happening.
He comes back with a whole bouquet of roses basically every colour except red AND BLUE ROSES because apparently he remembered exactly what I said.
I was like 🧍🏻‍♀️
Then we went to pick up his kitten, Honey, because I’d been begging to meet her forever. He finally handed her over to me and she was the CUTEST little thing ever.
After that I suggested we go somewhere peaceful because the weather was so nice, and he took me to this beautiful quiet place surrounded by nature.
So there we were me, him and Honey just walking around, talking about life, with the cat on her leash.
Eventually two couples showed up, saw Honey and started petting her. One of the girls asked if she could hold her, so obviously I let her.
Then she looks at Honey and goes:
“Oh my god, she won’t stop looking at her mom.”
She was pointing at me. 😭😭
Me and my friend just LOST IT.
Then he goes, “Why would you even give her to someone? I never let anyone touch my cat.”
And I was like, “Oh really? Then why did you let ME touch her?” 😭
More banter. More laughing.
On the way back, I casually mentioned that the weather was so nice and it was making me crave sweet corn.
We passed a corn stall.
He stopped.
Bought me corn.
I was already completely stuffed and we barely finished it, but the fact that he remembered something I literally mentioned in passing was so cute.
Eventually he dropped me back at the station and I went home.
And that’s basically it.
No dramatic confession. No “he’s secretly in love with me.” Nothing like that.
Just one of those days where you realise how nice it is to have people in your life who genuinely care about you, remember little things you say, and make an effort to make you happy.
I went there thinking I’m going to make his birthday a little special.
Somehow, I came back with flowers, corn, a million memories, and a ridiculously cute kitten. 😭
Friendship can be so fucking cute sometimes. 🥹🌷🐈
TL;DR: Went to another city for my bestie’s birthday because he didn’t want to celebrate it. Ended up getting flowers because he remembered my favourite, met his ridiculously cute kitten, got called the cat’s “mom,” ate sweet corn because I casually mentioned craving it, and basically had one of the sweetest friendship days ever. 😭
