Our clients fell in love with this textural leaf-print wallpaper, and we knew it had to be the foundation of the entire space. We carried warm white oak through the tall corner cabinet and open shelving to complement it, then grounded everything with painted greige lower cabinets and matte black hardware. The unlacquered brass faucet and vintage-style sconces add just enough warmth and patina to keep it from feeling too polished. Calacatta quartz wraps the countertop and backsplash in one seamless surface.

DM and I'll send a link to more pictures and videos on our project page (I wasn't sure if rules allowed me to post directly).

This is a remodel in a Lakeview condo. It features green cabinets, quartz counters, glazed subway tile, custom white and brass range hood.

What's everyone think of the green?

Chicago Design/build firm here. Sharing a 2015 bathroom we completed where we intentionally moved away from the typical white/stone palette

Key moves:

  • Wood-look tile carried across the shower, tub surround, and main walls for continuity
  • Darker mosaic tile inside the shower to create contrast and define the wet zone
  • Integrated tub + open shelving to keep the wall functional without adding cabinetry
  • Simple glass enclosure to keep sightlines open

The goal was a space that feels warm and durable, without relying on trend-forward finishes.

Curious how this reads to others, 11 years after installation!
