Walmart finds!

I’m a big fan of Sour Skittles- and I’m an even bigger fan of the old sour Jolly Rancher Gummies where they didn’t include lemon as a flavor 😅 (there isn’t even a lemon hard candy jolly rancher so that choice was confusing).

I can’t wait to try these two with my partner! I will report back later 🫡

My family ignores me… should I just stop trying?

I (26f) was a very difficult child. I was hospitalized at least once a year 9-19 for psychiatric reasons and it caused a lot of stress on our home. My younger brother (23m) and I have had really in-depth conversations about our childhood and I don’t really take it personally he doesn’t reply to my texts.. my older brother (31m) I’m extremely distant from.

I’ve tried to rebuild the relationship with my brothers and they just have no interest over the phone. In person it’s awesome. Laughing, joking, telling stories. A text? I don’t get a reply… even if I ask a direct question.

In the family group chat it’s just humiliating. Today I sent a YouTube video that’s a police body cam video of my job bc some crazy shit went down…

Not one reply. Not a like… nothing? It’s literally insane. Famous YouTubers did commentary bc the incident was so absurd. But my own family leaves me on delivered? Idk should I just stop trying? Sometimes when I reply to everyone having fun the conversation dies as soon as I show up.

I’m just extremely hurt. I know I fucked so much shit up as a kid because I was so unwell but I’m doing so much better now. Im medicated. Im employed with benefits. I have 3 dogs and a loving partner. I have friends.

I wish I had my brothers.

This peak childhood for my brothers and I! We had a disc in our minivan and we’d watch this movie over and over. I was telling my partner about this movie when I decided to look up where I could watch it… alas- I had to have a physical copy. Off to eBay I went! Found one for cheap and bonus points for being a stolen blockbuster version 😂 I’m excited to watch!!
