These gummies are the best gummies l've ever had but now I'm not able to find them 😢

I found these gummies at Marshall's here in Arizona (about a year) ago and I'm totally obsessed!!!!!!!! They are literally the BEST gummies I've ever had. A little bit of sweet and a little bit of sour but for some reason, they haven't had them in the last 3 months and i have even checked online with NO luck!! The brand name is: Little Temptations.
Does anyone know where i can get them?!?!

I was so excited to find these but they were a let down

The initial sour was promising but faded quickly. The fizz was just like og warheads but when it broke open, it tasted like fizzy cornstarch, not sweet or sour just yech. 0/10

These are hands down the best sour candy on the market!

They’re so thin that the ratio of malic/citric acid is perfect. The flavors don’t have a fake taste. They’re actually sour and flavorful

My drug of Choice

Only thing holding me back is the bleeding tongue, the pain of said bleeding tongue and adding more acid to it and also the stories of loosing teeth. I already kicked the carts and have those insane dreams about my teeth falling out. idk tho man i’m stressed af life is lifing and only thing keeping me sane is my sour candy

I did it - I finally opened my box of Star Wars Sour Skittles from Star Wars Episode III

I helped make the games for the Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Skittles collab promotion 20 years ago. I've had this box along with another one all this time and recently opened them up.

Along Time Ago in a Galaxy Far Far Away...

In 2005, I helped create the Hunt for Grievous online Shockwave games for the movie Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. It was a huge honor to build a game for the movie launch. I saw Star Wars when I was a kid in 1976 and have been a fanboy for life.

We went to Skywalker Ranch to read the script, to help us with the game while it was in post production to create the games.  Each game was based on a part of the movie. I remember sitting in the boardroom at Lucas Films and wanting to take a picture of it. Each script had our name on it. I was terrified of getting busted, so I didn't. We got to tour Skywalker Sound and even went into a warehouse there and saw some larger set pieces. Inside LucasFilm, it was beautiful, very Frank Loyd Wright. We spent the night at Skywalker Ranch for the trip. I stayed in the bungalow next to Stephen Spielberg's bungalow. They have since moved everything to the Persido in San Francisco.

The whole campaign was a tie-in with Skittles - where you could unlock lightsabers using the colors of the Skittles candies and win prizes.

Every bag had different images of characters from the movie. It was actually my idea to change the insertion rates of different bags, for some characters, so they were less likely to be found in a pack. (I used to create baseball cards, so I thought the packs might be collectible one day and by all accounts on eBay.)

Opening the box - The bags have been sealed in the box and have never seen light since then, so the colors are perfect and pop! No color distortion. The bags been laying flat for all these years and candies (which they call lentils) feel like they have slightly melted and gotten stuck together, maybe even combined into a larger skittles mass. You can feel some of the shapes but it has become a solid skittles bar. It actually helps them look good for displaying.

I see people selling opened bags on ebay, but I don't think anyone has the unopened bags after all these years.

Hope you enjoyed the background! Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

Thoughts!?

This is the candy that you coat some malic acid to. Very good when you chew into them. The outer coating has nothing.

Birthday Treats From My Wife

They happen to be a particularly sour batch of both. I’m 34 today and eating them at 9:15 am

Warheads should be ashamed of themselves.

These are the least "sour" candies I have ever tried. And the sour foam has the consistency of toothpaste after brushing.🤢

Crait "Mean Melon" review + comparisons: finally, a candy that's sour all the way through!

5/5 sour
5/5 flavor
5/5 texture
3/5 quantity::price
1/5 availability

Tasting Thoughts:
These are by far the best sour hard candy I've had since 1900s warheads. They're not a sharp, burning sour, BUT instead of just instantly becoming sweet, they actually maintain the exact same level of sour the whole way through. I don't bite my hard candies, and the sour really lasted until the whole candy had melted away. About the size/shape of barrel candies, I could definitely see these causing some hurt after 1-2 more just because the sour is constant... which excites me lol!

Some popular sours below that have comparable aspects to these:

  1. Jolly Rancher Fruit 'n Sour - Probably the most comparable candy I've had, the Jolly Ranchers also had a watermelon flavor, are a hard candy and similar shape/size (Craits are a little chonkier/rounder), and were also sour all the way through. It's been so long since I've had a sour Jolly Rancher, and they also weren't my favorite, but I think it was about the same level of sour/the craits leaning a little more sour. Even without biting down, these always seemed to get super sticky and glued to my teeth towards the end, and that doesn't happen with the Crait candies for me.
  2. Barnetts Mega Sour Balls - These are my current go-to if I really want to torture my mouth and dentist. It takes maybe 2-3 of these for me to force myself to stop, lest I literally burn the skin off my tongue/roof of my mouth. Craits are nowhere near as sour, but I'd choose Craits over these in the future for a few reasons: Barnetts are huge and awkward (I still haven't tried the pips because they're impossible to find here), they taste wayyyyy too sweet for my taste once the outer coating has dissolved, and I like the watermelon flavor of Craits much better.
  3. Toxic Waste (nuclear fusion) - I enjoy these because they're the perfect size for me, I really like all the flavors, and I love the sour powder in the center. If the actual hard candy part of them was sour all the way through, I think they'd be close to the perfect candy. The sour coating on the outside of these is much stronger than the Crait candies, but only lasts a few seconds for me. So I think I'd also pick Craits over these.
  4. Warheads (1900s) - Ignoring how lame the current version of these is, I'd say similar things apply here as my comparison to Toxic Waste. Additionally, watermelon flavor warheads are atrocious, so that'd be one more point to Craits.
  5. Zours - I'm pretty biased here because these are my favorite candy of all time, but Craits definitely comes close. I personally prefer a chewy candy over hard, and I also just found Zours texture to be heavenly. The watermelon and blue Zours were my favorites, and I do think the Crait watermelon flavor is very close to the Zour flavor. Interestingly, the Crait candies have a very fine brushing of powder coating on them that is almost identical to the one that was on Zours! It's more grainy than the ones on Toxic Waste/Warheas, but more powdery/softer than things like Barnetts or Sour Skittles. It's also not a whole lot, so it's not super messy. I always loved that part about Zours and never found it on any other candy, so I was very pleasantly surprised when I realized Craits had it!

Purchasing/Brand Thoughts:
There are about 25 pieces in the bag, which would've been fine... until I tried looking them up online to see where I could find them (my friend gave me this bag). Their site only lists Amazon as the place to purchase, and they are also $12USD per bag. I understand specialty candies can be more expensive, and it is really hard to find good sours, but idk about this good. Weirdly, this product isn't listed on their site at all. I also don't like that their site claims to be "direct to consumer" and "cutting out the middle man" but then just directs you to purchase on Amazon lol.

Has anyone else tried these, their other flavors/candies, or seen them elsewhere?

rainbow sour strips taste strange

these sour strips taste so strange. i was excited to try them because they had lots of good reviews but was disappointed.

the sourness is good, but the strips themselves have this weird molasses or fermented sort of taste, i can't exactly put my finger on it. i thought it might have been tartaric acid, but that's not on the ingredient list. has anyone else tasted this?
