I finally understood the name for second sentinel

I’m not a native English speaker. In my first playthrough of silksong, I just found these names very interesting, second sentinel, twelfth architect, fourth chorus. They do make me feel the long history of Pharloom. I went back to play hollow knight again recently. It just suddenly occurred to me. Hornet was the sentinel of Hallownest, and now she’s in a distant land where a robot is doing the same job she was once doing. I can now interpret it as the dual meaning of the second sentinel. Team cherry is truly genius

Not trying to be provocative or anything. I would like to share a recent run with the Ironclad on A1.

I didn't visit any merchant in Act 1. The first card reward I chose was rampage. So I decided to go for a small deck. When I finally visited a merchant in Act 2, I already had 500 gold. So I bought the colorless power card Fasten. At this point I can basically take down regular enemies hitless. Then I went for as many elites as possible. After getting the Icecream from an elite, I was unstoppable.

The final fight with the Doormaker was a little tough at the beginning, because I didn't pay attention to how its intent changes. Soon I figured out the right strategy. When it exhausts any card you play, just play regular defense cards. You have next two turns to deal a ton of damage. With such a small deck and the help of Soul cards, my rampage was able to deal over 100 damage in the last turn.

The most important item in this run is definitely the icecream. Without it, I wouldn't be able to play many cards when the Doormaker eats my energy for every card played. Maybe I won't get this lucky in future runs, but the new mechanism of the Doormaker is really fun. I like it a lot.

Hi! I’m new to this game. I just defeated the Siege Engine and a strange thing happened. I stabbed it down to last phase and it was one hit away. I stabbed it again and it smashed me at the same time. Then I got revived and went back to the arena. The boss was gone. So I guess I killed it after all, but I started moving super slowly. I had to continue the game in this slow motion for a while and I died in the Frog Domain. Then my speed was back to normal.

I asked a friend who already played this game and he said it never happened to him.

I wonder if it’s a bug or something related to the lore of this game. If you know, please don’t spoil anything significant about late game. I’m still very excited to discover everything else by myself!
