Anyone else struggle or completely freeze during exams in high school?

Perhaps due to overwhelm, feeling overstimulated or distracted by the sound of your teacher’s heels clicking, or seeing other students finish much sooner (when it feels like you barely just finished writing your name) ?

I didn’t even want to try or bother guessing answers and would pass blank exams, or not pass my paper at all. Who else has submitted a nearly completely blank or unanswered exam?

i also skipped much homework or would often be late due to perfectionism, eventually never submit anything due to shame.

I couldn’t fathom surviving college, and feel impressed with anyone who’s done it! I wish I had had the tools or support for it. I felt very alone in my inability to complete tasks in time, and I’m curious if anyone’s had a similar experience, or similar feelings.

What happened? Did anyone notice? What is life like for you now?
