I designed and released a fully functional SD handguard for the HK91

An MP5SD style handguard, upscaled, converted and made to fit the G3/HK91.

Its a 3D printer file, and quality of the print entirely depends on your own proficiency with 3D printing, your settings and the type of filament you use.

Though the model itself is fully released, so you can put it into whatever you want, or even make molds of it to make a rubber one.

(You may need to edit the model to fit your specific rifle if it doesnt fit right out the box)

Just had a frenectomy to fix a grade 1 tongue tie.

For those who are curious and nervous like I was..

They numbed me up, clamped it and I felt nothing, then he went in and started cutting, I was hoping that I was raising it high for him but to be honest I couldn't even feel it releasing I was so numbed, afterwards it was hard to spit cause I was so numbed but I immediately felt a lot of mobility, felt my tongue touch my bottom lip for the first time ever, very weird feelings all around, new, but so far it's doing good.

I'll update as I heal and if I experience anything notable, I'm posting this 1 hour after my procedure.

Update 1: 2 hours after, numbness has worn off, absolutely no loss of speech ability, the exercises hurt a little bit

Update 2: 14 hours after, i expected swelling, nothing so far. Its settled from mild pain to constant mild soreness, moving my tongue around still hurts about the same, haven't needed to take anything for it though. Eating is fine no issues, except it feels like im trying to swallow my own tongue which feels weird, but im getting used of it. As it's healing im noticing some difficulty with the letter S, which was a problem letter for me when I had the tie, right now its mostly due to the soreness and me not wanting to move it too much when talking.

Update 3: 24 hours later, soreness is almost gone already. It's still sore, but the best way i can explain it is, when you stick your tongue out and your tongue tie presses against your bottom teeth and it hurts? It's like that, its ignorable and I'm used of that feeling already. Still no swelling, still stings when I do the mobility exercises, saying the letter S is getting easier as the soreness goes down. Also someone asked what the blackness was, the doctor used Silver Nitrate to stop the bleeding, which turns black as it reacts with blood. The color has turned completely white as the white blood cells build a scab to heal the wound.

Update 4: 48 hours later, no soreness whatsoever anymore, about 12 hours ago I noticed the soreness was gone, and it still stings when I over stretch my tongue because it's still a wound, but day to day I feel nothing. Still no swelling, no difficulties speaking, and the pain from talking which made me hold back my tongue to avoid the pain doesnt happen anymore.
