Net Filed April 7th. Never had any tax issues and have been filing my own return for 16 years. Lost my job in January and was counting on a fast turn around on my return. Finally got my NOA today.
Don’t lose hope! I called CRA numerous times and they kept telling me ‘wait for a letter in the mail, they need more information.’ Which clearly was not the case. I have no idea what is going on this year at the CRA, but they seem to be dropping the ball when so many of us need our returns the most.
My refund is also including $16.44 in interest that I now have to claim as taxable income on my 2026 return. Thanks 🙄

I have no idea what Marshmallow got into, but he’s got a pretty gnarly hunk of something at the base of his tail. It’s brown and super greasy and will NOT come out with just brushing or water alone. So I am resorting to having to bath him.
I do have some residual trauma from a reaction my previous kitty had to some shampoos and Marshmallow is already a pretty sensitive boy. So any recommendations are highly appreciated ♥️
