So I want to do the CCL course but at the same time I might be moving to a new address nearby. Should I wait and see if I am going to move?
I anticipate changing address halfway through the application to be problematic?

My pet Amazon peeve is the shipping of things like backpacks many of which have foam padding etc. how they manage to fold and crease them to such a degree that it looks like it was squished into a ball then had a tank parked on top of it for 12 months and only then shipped.

I have bought many bags, packs etc and sometimes it’s great but more often they are basically damaged by the packing for shipping. If you have a good product that you know will be damaged if shipped badly surely it makes sense to ensure this doesn’t happen. Especially when the customer is paying a decent sum of money for it.

I’m sick of returning things over and over even if it’s “free” it’s still my time and fuel.

I have one bag that continuously enrages me every time I see it because even though I have tried I can’t get the creases and folds out and I got sick of returning it so just kept it.

I have a new 10/22 and am new to the whole 10/22 world.

What companies and websites would you guys recommend looking at to get an idea of all the possibilities out there?

Also what would your cheaper upgrade recommendations be. For eg. I am going to get the Kidd bolt buffer which is about $10.

What other small cheap upgrades can/should be done and where to look for options an all the other upgrades.

So I got my scope for my new 10/22. It’s been a while since I did any shooting with a scope and I just discovered I need to wear glasses to see the crosshairs. This never occurred to me. Kinda infuriating. Any other old geezers out there who have advice or tips.
Maybe there isn’t any and I’m just griping about getting older. Can’t find a specific sub and I have been talking to you guys about my 10/22 so figured I’d share my outrage.

Getting a new 10/22 soon. The 32002.
I would like to get a bipod.
Any recommendations for a cheapie like $50 or less. Off Amazon or wherever. Just to get used to using one and see how I like it.
Not doing anything super special with the gun so don’t want to spend a lot. That will go towards a scope and ammo.

I’m about to buy my first 10/22 I’m getting the basic cheapest one with irons and plan to build away to my hearts content.

So I have a CT1500 red dot I got on my Springfield Echelon and my question is is it worth buying whatever adapter it might need to mount on the 10/22 or is it better to go for a scope. I see a Vortex for $50 that I might go for. Both need the pic rail? which is cheap and easily mounted.

Not sure it’s worth buying an adapter for the CT as they have a bad rep but the recoil on a .22 might mean it has a longer lifespan.

Yep you’re in a desert and you find some water the best thing is to gulp it down as half pours over ur face.

We need to see that water or we won’t believe you’re really thirsty. After all what says I’m dying of thirst more than pouring half the water over your face as you desperately drink a fraction of it.
OR if you want to make sure that last drop of water is gone tip the bottle upside down and see what pours out.

Ffs this is not my most eloquent post but I’m watching a movie and the protagonist just poured half a water bottle over himself cos he’s dying of thirst….

Hey guys. My question is simple. Which one to buy?

I have never owned a 10/22 but I have decided that I want one. Should I just go for the cheapest one I can find online which is on locked and loaded $250 the 32002 model?

It seems to me from what I read this is a journey that will never end and I’m going to upgrade and change everything along the way so is there any point to getting anything but the cheapest to start with?

Is there any drawback to this model over others?
