Hey guys I have a buddy that I play with pretty regularly who runs salamanders. He keeps over watching me with his land raider redeemer and doing insane damage. I get that it has two flamers that get D6 + 3 hits but they’re only S 6 and he is melting some really tough T9+ units with them. Pretty much everytime he shoots the land raider he tells me it is +1 to would whatever he’s shooting at (even on my turn in overwatch). I am just trying to figure out how he’s getting that even on my turn as I don’t think his oath of moment is what’s doing it. I don’t play space marines so I’m taking a lot of what he says at face value. His over watching is less of a problem when I play a shooting army but with melee armies like emperors children it feels like he is able to really lock me out of the game.

Hey all, through a series of happenstance (largely birthday gifts and other impulse purchases) I have acquired 2000 points of emperors children. The below are the models I have currently. How viable is this list? Any high priority tweaks I should consider - other than getting a defiler, which I will do as soon as they’re less than $300 on eBay. I also plan to grab Fulgrim as I think he will be a bit better in 11th edition.
