I built a free BrightDrop VIN Checker.
While researching and buying my own BrightDrop, I got tired of chasing VIN details, battery information, GVWR/class, range, GM data, window stickers, equipment and options across multiple websites. I kept thinking: there has to be a better way.
So I built one.
Enter a 17-character BrightDrop VIN and the checker can help identify the model year, 400 vs. 600, AWD/FWD, vehicle class/GVWR, battery/range configuration, estimated range, power and more. It also cross-checks NHTSA data and provides direct access to GM and other public sources for factory equipment and installed options.
One thing I insisted on: if the data can’t be confirmed, the checker says “Verify” instead of guessing.
