The caretaker proceeded to walk away from the courtyard until she heard something: a cry. She listened closely. It sounded like a baby. It came from outside the front gate. The goat walked over and opened the gate. She looked down and saw it - she froze. A creature she had never seen before: a little baby tiger cub. The goat was puzzled. She wondered how this creature ended up in the Valley of Peace. She looked around and saw nobody. It was strange. Tigers were not native to the Valley of Peace. That was in the southern provinces, and yet one ended up here. The caretaker looked closely. It was a girl. There was no name. The baby was alone and frightened. The caretaker knew what she needed to do. She picked up the cub and brought her inside. Holding her close to her body, she looked down at the child's striped orange, black, and white face and her amber eyes. The goat felt a wave of fear. She feared how the other orphans would see it. The goat didn't know what it was or what it could be. She decided to give it a room of its own. There was a spare room in the orphanage. It just contained just a small bed. She added a cradle inside the room. The caretaker placed the baby in the cradle. She took off her wet swaddling clothes and replaced them with a red blanket with golden vine patterns from the small bed. With time, the baby tiger cub fell asleep. The caretaker quietly closed the door to the small room. The goat didn't want to name the child, for she feared attachment to the strange creature. For now, she simply referred to it as a tigress.

Then she watches Po do the Wuxi fingerhold on himself. Tigress almost lost everything, and everyone in Kung fu panda 3. It's a good thing Lei Lei was there to comfort her through all that.
