Wheel Cladding flew off while driving at 60-100 km/hr speed.
2 months since i bought the Xev9e Pack Three, 7k km covered and this happened. Contacted EV Manager of the dealership who gave me the number of the service centre. Service advisor said somebody deliberately pulled this part from the vehicle. i explained this is a basic fiber plastic part which won’t even make sense to steal and sell. And if done out of anger, spite or road rage then breaking mirrors or windows would be more satisfying. Even if done out of spite, it is impossible to pull these cladding since i tried it myself. Then i came across a post of facebook and and found out it has happened to someone else meaning some quality issue or fitting issue is present. Service Manager agreed to install the part and agreed to provide a discount. I am going to push for free of charge since it’s not my fault this issue occurred. Open to suggestions or any advice on what to say or do.
