Looking or a good Gyro (not pressed and sliced meatball)
I've had a hard time finding a good gyro here. I'm looking for a place that does a real layered döner, not the pressed cone. The only spot I've found in STL is J's Pitaria. They're good, though not truly Greek; I know they're Bosnian-style, but still solid. Is there anywhere else that doesn't pretend? I tried STL Gyros, walked in, saw the giant meatball on the spit, and walked right back out. I grew up on an island in Greece and I just can't bring myself to eat that. There has to be more options.
